Wow! Found this breakfast gem!
Awesome food… reasonable price.
Fresh squeezed OJ is so good!
Did I say «Fresh Squeezed!» Yum!
Bacon is thick enough to chew but soft enough to thoroughly enjoy.
Pancakes are light and fluffy but very substantial.
I didn’t even put butter on them and yet, so very tasty!
I’m not a grits person but my wife is and she loved the cheese grits.
Portions are perfect and definitely filling.

The reviews for this place were great so I thought I’d check it out but I’m kind of disappointed. It’s in a business complex off the beaten path and a tad difficult to find. I ordered a 2 egg breakfast with a side of bacon, the portions were surprisingly small for the price. The food tasted ok but nothing special. Granted the place was busy but the service sucked. My order was missing toast and I get to get up to tell my waitress because she never came back over and she never checked back to see how everything was plus I waited FOREVER to get my check. I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend a visit.

Wonderful! Breakfast was incredible– hash made fresh to order, eggs light and fresh! Delicious fresh-squeezed OJ. Great coffee. Owner came out to chat. All good. Will be back!

Found it on Unilocal & didn’t expect much because of its location but it was GREAT! It’s like an oasis in the middle of the industrial jungle its tucked away in. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant & the service is friendly & professional. Definitely a wonderful find.

Breakfast is a must try. In fact, I’d rather insist on saying the best breakfast in town. Going with a particular dish as a favorite is just a settlement. But the shrimp & grits are amazing. I am a big time breakfast guy and if you like fresh food and delicious coffee, this is the place to be. Along with great customer service, I’m pleased to say that I feel right at home even when im not at home.

This is a great café with excellent homemade food and friendly service. Food is cooked to order so it isn’t the fastest but it is more than worth the wait. With other restaurants I find something I like on the menu and repeat order on subsequent visits. Here I try something different all the time, from the Jerk Pork, to the Curry Chicken Salad to the homemade soups to the best burgers in town, I’m afraid to miss something. I have not been disappointed yet. This is my go-to lunch spot. Breakfast is good, too, with the traditional breakfast menu plus items like shrimp and grits (to die for). They take standard fare and push it up a notch or ten. They want you to taste, like and remember their food. Enjoy —

Chaz 51 was a great find! The food was absolutely delicious, and very affordable. I had the beef barley soup with half a turkey sandwich. My husband had the curry chicken salad sandwich. Both meals were amazing. I’ve heard the pork tacos were wonderful, too.
The service was very friendly and attentive.
This place is kind of back in a commercial district, so it’s not something I would have found on my own. But it’s well worth going for lunch!
