Great job as per usual. We had tri county back to do our annual review of our heating /air condition system. The entire system was evaluated and cleaned, filters replaced and cookies given at the end!

Larry came out to the house the same day I called telling them our air was not cooling. I was impressed since we were coming off a long holiday weekend. Larry did a great job explaining the problem and was a true professional. I will continue to do business with these folks.

Darrell B. and Tri County have always provided excellent customer service! Darrell is a great ambassador for the company — knowledgeable, honest and an expert in his field. We appreciate the service he provides for us on his semi-annual visits! Highly recommend!

1 year later: I have to say that the customer service team still are rude, rude, RUDE. When the tech was late for, scheduled, maintenance I phoned and was told, by «Todd» that he was on his way. 30 minutes later I re-phoned and«Mervyn» was sarcastic in tone and talked over me making no apology acting like I was the one inconveniencing him. He stated the tech was rushed to hospital. «Didn’t anyone want to call me?» «Are there other techs working and able?» I asked. Do not use this company – there are sooo many others that provide the same/better product: maybe without the prayers but much more reliable service and much better Customer Service.

Just another business that treats you like you like a tourist. Don’t fall for the Jesus /Christian stuff. Beware of businesses that push religion. Service person is almost always late. You’re lucky if this«tech» knows how to take the cover off the A/C. Prices are not competitive and if you do have a yearly maintenance service, watch them like a hawk. Unit will get only a basic pressure check and be left half cleaned, this in spite of the services done check-off sheet you get when they’re «done.»

Be prepared to pay through the nose. The residents of Sarasota are being«Used» by air conditioning companies. I contacted this company to do warranty work. The total job took under two hours to diagnose the problem and then replace the blower motor. The service call was $ 99.00 and the repair cost was 234.00 for a total of $$$$ 333.00. That’s more than my MD makes. The tech of course had to go get the part, the $ 99 was not rolled into the service so I ended up paying over $ 150.00 per hour for air conditioning service for labor only. Either get a service contract that covers parts and labor or prepared to sell your kids to pay the bill. Who would think that an air conditioner just over a year old could fail. Well buy a Temp Star and you will find out. Temp Star indicates that they do not make the blower motor that they use so they are not at fault. Tri County did offer to give me back half of the service call fee, they also offered a free service contract. Nice of them to offer anything so they must know they did something wrong, shame on them.

Had an appointment for 12−5pm. At 4:30 I had to call THEM and was told, «Sorry, we’re running late, but we WILL be there.» It’s now 6pm and they’re a no-show and when I call their offices I get an answering service that says they’re all gone for the day! It’s too bad, too, Tri-County USED to be a great AC service but now they’re just unreliable. Too bad they’re the only AC company in Sarasota. Oh, wait, they’re not, there are lots of other AC companies out there and I’d suggest you use any one of them instead of Tri-County. Well, unless you like waiting around for SIXHOURS for nothing, of course! Good luck! UPDATE: OK, to be fair, a guy finally did show up at 7 o’clock, but that meant that we got to eat our dinner with some scruffy guy dismantling our AC unit and spraying cleaning chemicals on it while we ate! Not good, and not acceptable from a company with all their TV commercials that make it sound like they’re the greatest thing since sliced bread! Thumbs down, way down! UPDATE2: So, their website brags that they have a «100% Satisfaction Guarantee» and, since I’m not 100% satisfied I wrote to them via the Contact Us link on their website to complain and, get this, I got NO response at all! None. Nothing. Not even a «Gee, we’re sorry,» form letter. Nothing at all. Not one word.
