People continue to rate this terribly. This pisses me. I have been going here frequently for a year and a half and it seems they get better every time. Seated behind two joints that are considered some of the best in town, you’d think they’d get zero business. Instead, I drive up on a peaceful Saturday afternoon and there’s no parking. When you get in you are greeted by friendly staff. It seems like all the tables are full. Salsa is exceptional and drinks are good as well. I ordered an burrito and it was very flavorful. I would consider the service a year ago to be less than adequate, but it has definitely improved. The atmosphere is also enjoyable and authentic. If you are in town I would highly recommend you try here if you’re not in the mood for Martin’s or Outlander’s.

The food was average at best, and the service was pretty slow, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Nothing special about this place, there are better Mexican restaurants around

The salsa is great. The cheese dip is better than any other place around(yes, there is a difference). The staff… eh. They weren’t rude or anything. They just seemed a bit snappy. Anyway, everything else was pretty much the same as most Mexican restaurants fit to serve American customers.

Excellent at one time however it went from authentic Mexican to just average Mexican food suited for White customers. Just saying.

I’ve been here a few times. The food is good but the service needs a major improvement. I’ve had different severs each time and have never left feeling like I was taken good care of. I probably won’t go back for a couple of months, and hope of improves when I return. I love the food, but they need to train the wait staff better.

Been back several times since my first review. Much better experience. Servers attitudes were much better as well as the fajitas. Also had the chimichanga and it was awesome. Warning, don’t order the monster Margarita if your driving! Its really strong but unlike a lot of places there margaritas don’t have a bite. Service is very quick, you wont sit around long waiting on your food.

So, I’ve got to say that I’m pretty thankful I live close to Campo Azul and Oscar’s Taco Shop(Order the sweet nachos from Oscar’s!!! Amazing!!!) here in Nolensville. I just moved from California. I did not realize what snobs Californians are when it comes to Mexican Food. Bottom line is that we have AMAZING Mexican Food in California. I tried a few mexican restaurants here in TN, and I was extremely disappointed. When I found Campo Azul, I was so happy! Is it 100% authentic? no. Are they better than most in the Franklin/Nolensville TN Area? yes. If your from California, avoid the bean burritos swimming in processed cheese, the chicken enchiladas(Super hard chicken), the guacamole, and the tamales. Ha ha, they’ll just make you mad. However, the Horchata is incredible, and the bean enchilada in the Enchiladas Supremas Plate is so good. The service is hit and miss. Sometimes it is incredible, and other times it’s not. Ha ha, I’m going to have to start requesting the friendly server. Anyhow, give it a try, just be careful with what you order.

Strengths: Good menu. Bar with TV in back. Outdoor seating Opportunities: Parking can be an issue. Service at times just rude. They don’t seem to enjoy their work or appreciate their customers. Summary: Las Palmas is down the road. Food is good but service is much nicer. Go there.

The food is decently priced and tasted just fine. Some items were a bit bland but okay. You must be a cilantro fan to eat here because it is everywhere. The biggest downside to the place is the service. The food came out all different times, orders were wrong and there seemed to be no urgency to provide customer service. We would go back if the service was better. But it’s not.

Thanks to Nolan’s Place ignoring us we enjoyed a very nice meal here. If you leave here hungry its you own fault. We got absolutely stuffed for half of what we were going to spend at NP

This is my all time favorite Mexican place. The staff is amazing. I’ve eaten here about a hundred times. Their best dish is probably the carnitas or milenasa. And their margaritas are my favorite in Nashville.

Swing a dead cat and you’re bound to hit an «authentic Mexican restaurant» around Nashville. I’ve tried them all(almost) and Campo Azul(or «Camp Blue» to us Gringos) is hands down my favorite. They have a super friendly staff, quick service and it never takes long to get a table and your food — even when they’re busy. The manager often says«see you tomorrow» after we pay and head towards the door. And while I know he’s joking I often think«yeah, tomorrow sounds good!» You can grab a margarita for around 5 bucks and their salsa is on point. Muy bien!

My sister and I went to Campo Azul after the UYE for the US World Cup game was pretty much cancelled. Bummer! Luckily for us, the game was playing at the restaurant though so I still got to see some of it. The service was slow and not the greatest but I wasn’t that particular about it. Our server took about 5 minutes to come and greet us and take our drink order. Anyway, I ordered the single order of shrimp fajitas. I love shrimp. I could eat it every day and I know when it is good or not. The single order was plenty for me. Too much even! It came with veggies, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream and pico. The shrimp was cooked perfectly! It was so good! I wanted to eat all of it but I was too full to finish each one. The veggies were good too. I was so happy with my choice.

Foods good but the margs are on point! Two of those bad boys and you’re feeling great! My wife and I stop in for them all the time. I saw a review that said they use a lot of cilantro and my wife hates it so she stays away from the salsa but I think it’s great. If you’re a margarita fan definitely check it out grab some fajitas while you’re there.
