Heavenly Donuts

Delicious! Went on a Sunday morning. Donuts, chorizo burrito, & green corn tamales are so good. We returned again the following day. Red chili tamales & donuts. The best donut shop around!!! Need to go early Sunday mornings they sell out of donuts really early. Open at 4:30am

I’m so happy I decided to stop into this location. If you ever come into the CVS, shopping center on the corner of Parkridge & Hidden Valley, come try one of their donuts or one of their delicious tamales.
The interior is like every other donut shop… a few chairs/table’s but very clean.
I was expecting family and they requested for me to bring home donuts so I purchased a dozen of their variety. Everyone seemed to be pleased. Especially over their cake style.
The strawberry cream cheese croissant was absolutely amazing. Very buttery and perfectly toasted.
Now the one tamale I brought home… BIG MISTAKE ONLY BRINGING 1. It was like a sword fight between grown as* adults trying to get the last bite. My hubby is mexican, so we all know good tamale! They were extremely moist & the masa was tasty. Nothing worse then getting blah or dry masa. The cheese they use is great quality & the Chile has a kick. Lesson learned was to purchase a dozen next time. They make pork, chicken, cheese 7 days a week all year long. Bonus!
This location is under a new ownership for the past 4 month’s. Their a sweet & welcoming couple. If you’re ever in the area and have a sweet tooth, come in and try something! And definitely try a tamale.
They also cater the tamales! ;)

The donuts are always fresh and the place is clean, customer service is outstanding, your in and out in the morning rush.. theirs always donuts no matter what time of the day you go.

Hot and fresh just the way a donut should be. I really like the custard filled donut with chocolate. It’s one of those sweet but not overly sweet donut. Located at the back of CVS in Hidden Valley, you wouldn’t think that this place exist if you don’t live in the area. So lucky that I live walking distance to this place and I get to enjoy the treats that they offer every once in a while.
The service is also awesome and they would throw in an extra 2 – 3 donut holes in your box (I’ve had this a couple of times now). Overall the place is clean, service is good and the donuts are yummy!

I will try this place a few more times before I can really rate the donuts but I do have some positive things to say right off the bat. Very clean! Very nice girl working there. I had a french cooler I think is the name and it was only mediocre. I prefer them super lite and fluffy this was not. Will try again to make sure.
