Good, caring doctor. Less than enthusiastic staff. Shut practice down in early March 2016 with no notice to patients. What kind of doctor does this without any explanation or offer to retrieve records?

I am slightly surprised at the less number of reviews for Dr Abrahms, here in Unilocal. He is undoubtedly the best pediatrician in Atlanta. Our doctor visits have always been more than satisfactory. Myself and my wife have a holistic approach for our baby and Dr Abrahms not only understands and respects those, but also gives lot of valuable advice in those directions. This is really something that we have missed with other doctors we have seen in this country. He is old & wise, experienced and kind-hearted. He is also vaccine-friendly, in the sense, he doesn’t force the parents to do vaccination. He respects the parents for the opinions and ideas they might have. In short, he is just too wonderful !

My daughter started seeing Dr. Abrams when she was 18 months old. I absolutely LOVE him! My daughter is now 18 and can’t see him anymore. Its very sad! I trusted Dr. Abrams all along the way of my daughter’s growing years. We have the same philosophy when it come to medicine and I needed that. So many doctors want to get your kids a pill to fix this or that and never even consider an alternative. Not Dr. Abrams, if you don’t need a drug he isn’t going to force it on you. But on the other hand, if you child needs a medication, Dr. Abrams will tell you that. He’s really a great doctor. I wish I could find an adult doctor like him!

We were referred to this pediatrician by my OB when I was pregnant. We were looking for a person who wouldn’t push things on us, and help us go in the right direction in the way we raise our son. We met with Dr Abrams and liked him, so we decided to go with him as our pediatrician. However, from the start things didn’t really go well. He didn’t come to the hospital after my son was born(even though they said he would…), and then at our first appointment we had to wait around an hour to be seen. It was quite the production considering we had a newborn with us. My newborn cried all the time, and after about a month of this we brought him in to be checked out. We were told it was normal baby crying, and«babies cry». The nurse told me, «Whatever you do, don’t shake the baby!» which was ridiculous and incredibly insulting. After this we decided to look elsewhere. I have heard a lot of positive experiences with Dr. Abrams, but unfortunately we didn’t experience it. We found a new pediatrician who immediately knew what the issues were with my son, and I felt horrible that I wasted time going to a doctor who claimed his crying was normal.
