The shop is fine with a good selection. I would not use the tailor they suggest. He kept telling us that the dress I ordered would be ready and it was over a month late. Then it only got done because we had to badger him each day to finish it. Be wary…

I liked my gown that I bought for my sister’s wedding from Bawree. The employees there were easy going and nice to work with. The only reason I can’t give Bawree 5 stars is due to the tailor they recommended to me. I live 4 hrs away so I had to come back for it. When I did, I wasn’t impressed with the job so I requested him to clean it up while I waited for 30 mins. When I came back, it was still too loose from the sides. I again requested him to take it in some more but didn’t do anything. The tailor ended up telling me, due to the fabric it can’t be snug on me and would ruin the look. So I said okay and left. Since I was still not satisfied, I went to my local alterations place & the ladies there said they can take it in & the gown would be ready in a week; not 3 weeks like the tailor of Bawree said. I would recommend to buy from Bawree but DO NOT USE THE TAILOR. Its too costly and the job won’t be what you want. Go to a alterations place that does wedding gowns, prom dress, pants, shirts, etc.

We worked with Vidath at Bawree to find my bridal lengha saree, my husband’s wedding sherwani along with the kurtas for our groomsmen and anarkalis for our bridesmaids. We purchased the lengha saree directly from Bawree and decided to make all other outfits (for my husband and bridal party) custom made in India to match the lengha. Vidath coordinated all of the custom-​made outfits in India and it all came out perfect! The quality of materials, the timeliness of the shipping, and the look of all the outfits was better than we ever expected. Vidath was amazing in keeping us updated on the status of the order and made sure everything was made and shipped as planned. We’ll definitely work with him again — we highly recommend Bawree as the shop of choice, especially when it comes to wedding shopping.
