I contacted several companies, narrowed my selection down to two, and am more than satisfied with my choice.
Their monitoring price is one of the most affordable in Atlanta. There is one other company who is $ 2 cheaper per month – but only if you sign a 36 month contract! No contract required with Bulldog. .
The customer has options for which security system they want installed; I chose hard-​wired Honeywell. Preferring more security than a basic system offers, I was pleased that the cost for optional equipment (extra motions, glass breaks, etc) was so reasonable.
I took advantage of their online coupon to «prepay 3 months, get 3 months free» and also prepaid an additional 6 months so my entire first year is covered (making the first year much less expensive than even their cheapest competitor)!!
My installers were Lou and Chris. I’ve had alarm systems installed everywhere I’ve ever lived, and Lou’s knowledge and professionalism is the best I’ve seen. THANK YOU!

I recently had Bulldog install a home security system. Their two man crew was professional and courteous and didn’t make a mess as they installed the system.
Their pricing is much more competitive than some of the other security vendors in the area, plus I really like the fact that you don’t have to sign a service contract. If your product is good, you shouldn’t need to lock your customers into a contract. I’m glad Bulldog agrees with this philosophy.
I wish the installer had spent just a couple more minutes explaining a few of the system operations, but that is my only complaint. I’d recommend giving them a call to at least compare with quotes from Ackerman and ADT.

I’ve always felt that the residential security industry had a lot of rip-​off artists. Today, that opinion changed a little.
Lew Stouffer from Bulldog Security came out to see me this morning and was an absolute pleasure to work with. A great personality, but more importantly, he answered my questions, we discussed my options, he was very upfront about all the different things we could do now and into the future and was never in sell, sell, sell mode.
In the end, I paid a quarter of what another company (that is A-​rated by BBB) wanted to charge, partly because they were fair, but also because Bulldog didn’t make me buy stuff I didn’t need or want.
