I just stopped by Champion Computers today.
They now have their lights off on the showroom floor.
A sign on the front directing customers to their eBay store.
An older bearded guy, who I have never seen before, opened the door and said that they don’t do retail in person anymore.
I asked if I could see the products in person.
He said that they don’t have anything in the showroom.
He was very quick and terse.
There used to be a lady, who was very professional, and customer service oriented that ran this place.
Unsure if this place is under new management or if she was still there.
The vibe is very different from my past experience. I felt like he felt like I was inconveniencing him.
I came to look at the iMac 27″ Quad Core i7 that was advertised on eBay, and to ask if they sold a 16Gb Ram kit for it.
I was also going to take a pic of the iMac to send to the wife to get her approval.
I have changed my rating from 5 stars to three stars as a neutral rating. This reflects my in-​person experience before to the terse experience today.
I am now having second thoughts.
