After reading a review and being in the area decided to stop by for a minute and check the place out. There is plenty of «stuff» here it was almost strange walking in and taking a look around at what they had it was kind of like being in a «time warp.» VCR’s and some tapes were for sale, stereo’s that would play cassettes, an old vacuum that has the canister behind you, two crank ice cream makers and a stove top popcorn pot that has the sides that open up as the corn is cooked(I almost bought this). For those of you looking for«something old» lots of dish and glassware from the 70’s &80’s is here, if you are looking it you might just find it ? Happy hunting.

This is one of those diamond in the rough kind of places. They have incredible deals and most of their stuff comes from the ritzy suburbs of ATL. Mondays are 50% off THEENTIRESTORE. Over the past few months they have really organized the store, its become a favorite on the way home from work. There are no signs with the name«Cheaper by the Dozen», its just advertised«Thrift Store» which can be confusing. Its right at the intersection of Jimmy Carter and Buford Hwy. FAVE.

So, there are a few thrift shops in Norcross that are quite close to one another and make for a fun little loop. I must admit despite several fruitless trips I try to stop in every few weeks since they always put stuff out. On my last visit I found several items plus the whole store was 50% off… music to my frugal little ears! I definitely recommend weekdays to weekends and now that I know they support woman’s shelters I will gladly drop off my donations here as well.
