I used to drive miles out of my way to go to Denny’s when I lived out of state because of the fresh ingredients and sizable portions so I was happy to find a Denny’s in Atlanta… until I tried it. If anyone in management is reading this, FYI, people can taste when you substitute ingredients; I.e. real vs. fake cheese, pork vs. turkey bacon, real vs substitute eggs. Unless I order turkey bacon, I really DO want pork. Unless I order fat-free salad dressing, I want the real thing! Get the point? While the prices would be considered reasonable for REAL food, it is too much for substitutes. Please give your customers credit. We really can tell me difference between real and fake!

Straight up I’m sitting here and I see food just waiting at the window to be sent out to hungry guests. They have what looks like 1 person working and 2 other people walking around or eating. WTH. I had the Baja burger $ 6 menu. It has avacado… Comes on flat bread. I added salt. 6⁄10 taste Also the eggs in a basket the value is great comes with hash browns the egg is in a bun or bagel in the hole. Pretty neat I haven’t seen anything like that before. Impressive! Comes with bacon 7⁄10 taste. Great value. We had a lovely waitress, Maria. Nice. Will come back :)

I love this location!!! The new and improved restaurant looks so nice and the staff is very friendly. This time I got the $ 6 eggs in a basket. Make sure you ask for the $ 4, $ 6, and $ 8 menu. Anyways it was soooo good! It’s my two favorite food items mixed in one! Eggs and bread! I am probably going to order this for now on :)

Yuck. Food was gross — the pecan pancakes, eggs, and kids burger were seriously overcooked. My egg whites tasted really bad and had black flecks from the grill on them. The decaf was so bad we sent it back. The sugar/sweetener box was so gross that I dumped out pepper, hashbrown pieces, and dirty packets. Sadly, our server wasn’t friendly or helpful, either. :(

I came to this location a few years ago and wasn’t to impressed with the food or service. However I decided to give it another shot today since I was in the area. The first thing my Husband and I noticed was the makeover this Denny’s got. The floors were clean and so were the tables. The service was great I wish I’d seen the waitress’s name tag but she was very welcoming. The food was delicious and we got everything we asked for. Definitely coming back soon!

I came here for the first time about a week ago and recieved such good service I had to come back and try it again. Just as friendly and attentive as first time. It was somewhat busy this time and the service was still excellent. The food is, well, just fine for me. It’s Denny’s. I got exactly what I ordered, it came hot, and was cooked as ordered. Will certainly be back to this location.

Goods service, good food — as always. Sure, tables could be cleaner and some of the seats could be renewed. Anyway: overall very good

We went to Denny’s around 11:30PM because we were hungry and wanted something different than the same old IHOP and Waffle House that we normally go to. I have to say that overall, I was very impressed. The staff was kind.(Our server’s name was Tink.) The food came out very fast!(Especially in comparison to, IHOP!) The food was decent. Not the best thing I’ve ever eaten, but most certainly not the worst. It was also very filling! The bathrooms look a little shabby, but clean. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for some ‘after hours’ eating. :)

The service from Jill was wonderful. The food wasn’t wonderful. The pancakes were rubbery, there was a hair in the coffee cream, and a pubic hair in the potatoes that had no flavor — but I didn’t try the pubic hair.

no take out orders over the phone Trey says. He took my last take out order over the phone a couple months ago and I tipped him $ 5.

I hadn’t been to Denny’s in years, and honestly, I wasn’t sure why. Why have I been going to strictly late night Waffle House or Phở 24 is beyond me. I read a couple of reviews for this Denny’s location… And it was not pretty. So my expectations were not very high. We were seated as soon as we entered, and our server was very nice. My coffee cup, contrary to most reviews, lacked the usual lipstick stain on the rim. The coffee was alright. Better than McDonald’s coffee, at least. I ended up ordering a skillet, although I had a lot of trouble deciding what to order, seeing as there are so many different options on the huge menu. I ordered the Ultimate Skillet, seeing as the Ultimate Skillet seemed to be the most intense one. I ordered an over medium egg that oozed over the hot skillet of onion, peppers, and that grilled sausage. My friend ordered the Santa Fe skillet, which had chorizo sausage(a much better seasoned sausage), although I did not mind the sausage from the Ultimate Skillet. My low expectations were exceeded. Late night cravings were satisfied. Not bad.

This only reflects take-out orders. I ordered breakfast, and got it within 10 minutes or so. The staff was pleasant, even though I only had a little bit of interaction with them. The waiting area is nice and spacious… way better than the waiting area in the IHOP just down the road. I enjoy the turkey bacon at Denny’s over the turkey bacon at IHOP, so that alone is likely why I’ll probably switch allegiances and come to the denny’s more often now. The egg whites were good too, still had good flavor. When I got there it was around 11am and the parking was somewhat full, I had to park behind the restaurant, but again there was plenty of parking.

I’ve been to this location twice in one month. Each time with a different server. The first server was not customer service oriented and had more of a, «you my homie» feel of how she waited on my father and I. The second time, the server was more attentive and had better customer service, but still lacked in other areas. The hostess doesn’t really seem pleasant. You can tell she(both times) didn’t want to be at work. The employees carried their personal conversation out too loud. It seemed very inappropriate. But my food was good. All the food we ordered was up to par. I’d recommend ordering to go, unless you’re starving or Don’t care for the above mentioned.

It’s an older restaurant, yes, but all the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful, not just to the customers but to their team members. Specifically we encountered Micah and Unique who seemed to have a great flow going between the two of them and provided friendly service. Micah was proactive in getting us set up while Unique was very busy while still maintaining a great level of service. Micah would also would stop by time to time to provide refills and make sure we were doing well. Unique made the effort to be genuinely conversational and check up on us consistently. The food certainly met the expectations I have from Denny’s but the BBQ sauce was pretty great which was rather unexpected– especially since one of us actually works with a steak house. Yes it has some cosmetic issues but cleanliness was not a problem — in fact they had their clean report card from the health department(they received an A with a score of 98).

I can’t believe it took me so long to finally try out denny’s. sadly, I came and left disappointed. perhaps it was due to location? this jimmy carter location is probably the only one that’s within a 20 something mile proximity to atlanta. the other ones are scattered in the middle of nowhere.literally. the exterior looks decent. to be more clear, it looks presentable as a diner and resembles the un-impressionable ihop. nothing special. but don’t let that fool you, since the interior is no where close to decent looking. first thing you’ll notice when you enter are the hideous, dirty floors. then, you’ll notice the dirty tables, ugly walls, «walmart» crowd, slow table cleaning/turning, and the list goes on. I don’t want to spend too much time on such a lousy chain, but just know that the food was disgusting. sure it’s cheap, but I would have rather drove to a fast food and paid to eat their processed crap. as for service, all I have to say is — does it exist here? we were seated at a dirty table, server took forever to check on us, menu is too damn big and yet they still rush you when they do decide to show their face, food takes forever, and they never come back to see how the shitty food was. first time and was a terrible experience. so far I haven’t returned or tried out any other location. I think it’ll stay that way. blech~~

Let me start this off by, I live all the way cross town in Cobb County. My wife wanted to eat here. There was a new staff member that was our waiter. I am not going to blame him because he only can bring what the kitchen gives him. The waiter was under trained and the — Ultimate Omelette was something to laugh at. Denny’s be ashamed to serve this crap. I sent my order back and went across the street to Mc Donald’s . They don’t care at this place. Sad it’s the only one here in the city. Close. Will not drive no further. To be disappointed.

Let me just say that I come here with a positive bias– I used to wait tables at a Southern California Denny’s back in my college days so I have a historical fondness for this chain. I had an opportunity to come to this location today to meet a friend for a breakfast get-together and let’s just say that some things are best left to memories. Familiar menu(can you say«Grand Slam» breakfast?), similar décor(which means it’s way overdue for an update) and the same type of customers(Tammy Faye-Bakker types, uniformed workers and random people in workout clothes) that I remember from back in the day. That all would be well and good, if my coffee mug didn’t come with bright red lipstick stains from the previous customer(or perhaps the one before that, or before that, etc). Even though we were only one of… say 5 tables populating the restaurant, it still took prodding on my part to get my cup of coffee… at a Denny’s… coffee. The food was tasty, as it always is, but you wonder how nasty the kitchen is.((Sigh)) It’s sad for me to see such a storied American brand get so tired. Perhaps it’s time to retire?

Our server(Ricky) was very nice and the food was good — those are the reasons that this Denny’s is getting a two star review instead of just one star. The restaurant itself is filthy! Carpet and furniture full of stains, restrooms are disgusting, there is an overall smell to the place that is certainly not pleasant. This location either needs to be seriously rehabbed or simply torn down and start over…
