Disk Doctors

Well in reality I thought «this is what I get for not backing up and always meaning to set up a cloud backup but didn’t make the time»
My computer with 7 years of pictures and videos of family came up with the dreaded BLUE SCREEN and gave hard drive errors.
I first took it to a local fix it guy but no luck — he could not fix the drive or recover anything but was careful with my drive and claimed the data is on the platters of the hard drive and that I had to take it to a disk recovery place and it would be expensive.
DISK DOCTORS recovered EVERYTHING about 40,000 photos and videos. I couldn’t believe how all the photo and video files added up over the years.
Well I must say that I thought Disk Doctors in Norcross GA did a fabulous job at a fair price and was VERY understanding and genuinely cared about me and my precious pictures /​data.
I dropped it off and within 2 weeks Disk Doctors recovered everything and put it on an external drive for me. I promptly went home with the external drive and loaded about 40,000 photos and videos on a couple other home computers and then setup a cloud based backup ASAP.

So now I have external backup drives at home and cloud based backup at home (in case of a fire or something) for 3 computers and an external hard drive. I GOT VERY LUCKY and these guys made the difference.
You don’t realize how precious these pictures and videos of your family are until you almost lose them! Our kids are now young people and love looking at themselves as kids. I am thinking about having 2 cloud based backup services to run backup of my pictures instead of one. It is so cheap why not?
If you have hard drive errors and this happens to you go to Disk Doctors and give them a chance.
