I eat here almost every Monday! That should say it all but if not, it’s just solid food at a solid price. And they put a free little cookie in every to go lunch.

This was a great place for breakfast. They had a great breakfast special, home made breads and bakery. Order at counter then choose your table. They bring out your food to you. There were a lot of locals who were happy to be there reading their paper, visiting with friends or family members. We had a great meal and would definitely go again if we were in Atlanta.

This is definitely a whole in the wall kind of place. I live so close by and every time I run by there early in the morning it smells so good. I recommend this place for someone who like homemade humble breakfast or brunch. you can tell they make this fresh unlike ihop or Waffle House. they have very great coffee for all you coffee lovers. Overall their service is fast and they have a variety of breakfast options and pastries. I enjoy this place!

Best place around for breakfast! Great pastry and bread selection, and all types of breakfasts. I am a corned beef hash fanatic, and they have the best in the Atlanta area. Fast service with very friendly staff.

This place is just around the from home so sometimes I pop in for a quick bite. Breakfast and lunch is available for dine in or to go and the pace is casual and friendly. Omelets are filling and come with toast and grits or hash browns, bagels are the bread type are made in house and should you need a loaf of bread for home you can have one. Plenty of sandwiches and melts are available and specials on the board change daily.

Now i can see what the buzz is all about. Tried to go to this place once but it got there almost at closing time so they didnt have any pastries available. Came back on Friday around lunch time since I left work early and decided that I had to try and go again. It was packed out, but got some pastries that were delicious. Their cheese strudel was awesome, and got the wife a pecan brownie which she said it was amazing. I will try to hit this place more often if I’m in the area before they close!

Great neighborhood breakfast spot! You can’t go wrong ordering anything involving a biscuit. I’ve tried the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. It was made to order and perfect! On this most recent visit, I ordered the biscuit with gravy and loved it, too(but then again, I’ve never met a biscuit and gravy I didn’t like!). My healthier toddler had a fruit cup. The place is casual and filled with people who appear to be locals. Everyone seems to know everyone else. Great quick, neighborhood hangout.

Best toast ever! Yes, toast. When u eat their house baked toast you’ll know what I’m talking about. They give u a choice of biscuit or toast with the breakfast platter. Biscuit was good but toast was unlike any toast I’ve tasted before. All the food was great, nothing to complain about. Eggs, bacon toast and grits for $ 5. Can’t beat that. However, the place is kind of dated with a «grandma decorated» kind of feel but these hole in the walls are the places I like to go because they always have the best food and great prices. 5 stars as far as the food goes but the selection is kind of small so 4 stars for an overall restaurant rating. Definitely coming back for lunch

I love coming here during my lunch hour. It’s really close to where I work. I’ve been here numerous times, and almost always order the grilled cheese sandwich, which comes a choice of either chips, potato salad, or pasta salad, and a mini surprise flavored cookie(which they call Lil’ Bit cookie). To add, that little cookie is everything! It’s small enough for just a little bit of sweet at the end of your meal. Anyway, the bread they use for the grilled cheese is delicious. i’m not sure what kind they use, maybe sour dough? The american cheese is right up there with the bread. :) I like that they use more than 1 slice of cheese. Magnolia’s also serves other types of sandwiches(hot and cold), soups, salads, and even baked potatoes! They have dining inside and have several tables and chairs set up outside. When the weather is nice, I like to sit outside. The service is pretty quick. You place your order at the register and someone will come out to deliver your food by name. Beside one of the two registers, they have a display of bakery sweets! I’ve seen brownies and cookies. Everything looks really good. They also serve breakfast from certain hours, but I’ve never tried it. This is a really great place to come to for a quick sandwich or meeting up with a friend over lunch.

Went in for breakfast today, had french toast, which was very nice – great texture, soft and fluffy. All of the bakery items, including bagels, looked appetizing and tempting. I’d come back for breakfast and pastries, and maybe try their sandwiches for lunch some time. There were a few negatives that cost Magnolia Café at least one star: — In these environmentally conscious times, I didn’t like the fact that even eating in meant using plastic utensils, and worse, the only cups for coffee were styrofoam. Argh! I went out to my car and got my travel mug. — There were only little containers of half-and-half, no other choices for creamers(like whole milk, which would be my preference), and no bulk sugar dispenser, just little packets. But the french toast was good, everything else I saw looked amazingly delicious, the staff were pleasant, and the atmosphere was quiet and low-key. Between the negatives above, and on the good side, the great attraction of the pastries, I’ll stick with 4 stars and try to put Magnolia Café on my rotation.

I’d driven by this place many times, never thinking to check it out. But after reading the positive reviews, came here with three other friends last wknd for lunch. All of us thought the food was just ok. I got the Cuban sandwich which was a little pricey at $ 6.29, but it does include chips, rice & beans, and a tiny oatmeal raisin cookie. The sandwich was pretty good, and the rice & beans were very bland. My other two friends who got the Cuban sandwich thought it was just ok. They also ordered another Cuban & Reuben-to-go for their husbands, and their husbands liked the Reuben better. So maybe next time I’ll try the Reuben. I also tasted my other friend’s chili b/c the reviews were positive — bland :( Overall, a little disappointing — I think we just expected too much based on the reviews. But definitely worth another visit — after all, they must be doing something right since they’ve been around since 1994.

My favorite lunch place. I eat here at least once or twice a week for the last several years. My company has lunch and pastries delivered when we have clients visit. Great sandwiches and massive salads. Staff is fantastic. Try breakfast also, served anytime. Save room for their pastries!!!

This is one awesome family owned place. This is the first of their two locations. The food here is always fresh and tasty! The baked goods are superb from the bread for the sandwiches to the little baby cookies they give you to tease you into getting a full size one. Make sure if you are going for lunch that you arrive a little before or a little after the usual lunch rush, they get packed.
