A lot of my friends have been posting pictures on Facebook about Plaster Zone for birthday parties. It’s an art, more like painting pottery place for kids. It’s a great place for kids to show off their creative artistic side for several hours and have fun. It’s also very affordable. There is no studio fee. Prices include the art piece and painting. Most pieces are $ 6 — 20. Groupon has a deal and decided to take my daughter and niece there. It’s located at Global Mall on the top level. It’s a lot smaller than I thought but Nikita, the owner, works one-on-one with all the children. It’s not super crowded and the kids take their time perfecting their own pieces. She explains in detail and makes sure the kids understand. They also offer Pencil Sketching & Shading and Water Colors & Oils classes on weekends. I signed up my daughter for Pencil Sketching & Shading class. In just one class, I can say that she has improved tremendously. She’s always drawn pictures her whole life but this time, she added an additional touch and the picture looks so real. The teacher is awesome. It’s more one on one. He has a really good eye. You can view his portfolio when you visit the studio. My niece cannot wait to come back and spend the weekend with me so I could take her to Plaster Zone. My daughter is already loving the class even if she has homework! She stayed up until 3 am working on her drawing!
