This is a membership only business for restaurant owners. The prices are fair to good. I usually find almost everything I need in this store. I believe they need to add more check out lanes on busier days and times. Other than that this business earned a four star from me. The staff are very helpful in getting you what you need. I would recommend this business to other business owners.

The restaurant depot is always crowded with people that have so much stuff to pay for on the little dollies. I think they need to supply carts for smaller purchases because it can become a traffic jam. The prices are great compared to regular store shopping and really makes me wonder why I even go out to restaurants because of the big markups. I tend to visit the Norcross location for boxes of crab legs. They are soo soo good and the price is great compared to 10lbs at a restaurant being probably over 100.00 and here a box of 10 lbs is 60 dollars. The store is dark sorta, and the staff can either be helpful or shrug you off. I still like the place.

This place is like a mecca for Restauranteurs. «Not Open To The Public» says a sign on the outdoor, although membership is free– but you have to be in the industry. I come here about 1−2x a month to help out with my friend’s restaurant and it is always fun to check it out. Prices are decent– and they have everything kitchen related– even some decent chef’s wear! The hours are odd, so make sure you double check before you go.

For those that don’t know, Restaurant Depot is like a Sam’s Club for the restaurant industry. It’s not open to the public, but it is open to restaurant owners, caterers, chefs, restaurant workers, etc. This location is not bad, but it’s not as good as the one in Atlanta. It’s a little too dark and dingy and my opinion. Also, the staff here isn’t as helpful as the staff at the other location. When you’re searching around for stuff in there, a good staff is really important. They’ve got some good quality products and the small ware prices are decent. They have some large wares there, but it’s not a great place for those items. Produce can be good, or it can be garbage, you really have to look at first. Haven’t had any problems with any meat or dairy here. I will say that this location has more«ethnic» selections than the Atlanta location. More Asian and Latino choices here. A key to this place is making sure you don’t buy more stuff than you have room for in your vehicle. All in all, a pretty good place to save some money from time to time. I’d like to just see this location clean up a little bit.
