MS. ANNA IS A TEASE, OR SO I THINK!
I’m beginning to think that Ms. Anna is a tease because she puts all of her little pieces in the window so that you can drool and lust, then she further teases you by not being open when you come to visit. The other day when I was in the area, I passed by this store and thought, «this is the one, this is the store that could actually make the bling queen open up her vault and invite in some new members». As I excitedly turn the door knob, I gasp in horror because it is actually locked. Dang, missed her by 10 minutes. I’ll try again.
This morning I am in the area, like at the shop next door and guess who’s NOT open? That’s right, I imagine Ms. Anna sitting in her car across the train tracks saying GOTCHA and having a good laugh. Not funny! What downtown business doesn’t open until 11am? (which is more like 3 pm when I need something).
Okay I get it, she’s just not that into me! It’s over, Deuces!
**Although she wasn’t there for me, she still gets three stars for making me look twice, for making me check back a second time and for saving me a lot of money. Whew, that was close because I was locked and loaded today!

Anna Balkan is truly a gifted artist working in jewelry. When you enter her shop in historic Norcross, you’ll receive a warm greeting from her or a team member. The shop is beautiful in design and function, being perfectly lighted and arranged. You won’t feel rushed to make your choices.
On each visit, I am astounded by the vast array of new pieces. Her collections are mind-​blowing displays or color and the materials and craftsmanship are unparalleled.
I highly recommend shopping her selections.

The drive from downtown Atlanta is definitely worth it. Even if you have seen her stuff in other shops experiencing her gallery in person is such a treat! It’s stimulation overload but with the knowledgable sales staff and often Anna herself, you will be able to find a great piece just for you! The shop is surrounded by other unique boutiques and yummy restaurants. Make a day of it!!!

Shopping in Anna Balkan’s studio in Norcross, GA is quite an intoxicating experience. Sensory overload! Every single piece of her jewelry is fantastic; and Anna and Christine were very helpful as I searched for the perfect pair of earrings for me. They allowed me to try on all the pieces that spoke to me! Anna and Christine draped me in necklace after necklace, then spinning me around to meet my reflection with each new addition. What fun we had! I felt like Cinderella when all the little birds were dressing her in that fabulous ballgown. I left with a great pair of earrings, but let me tell you… I wanted it ALL! I can’t wait for my next shopping trip in her studio. Thank you, Anna and Christine, for being so helpful, fun, playful, and sincere. I left with new jewels, but I felt like I gained two new friends to boot!
