Tree Sound Studios

We used TreeSound as a rehearsal space. We rented the space from 9 – 5 for a week and half. On day one staff did not show up till 9:30 forcing us to cut our rehearsal time. This became a habit and moved rehearsal to 9:30. We rented «The Cave» and it is extremely dark and hard to work in. Most of the light is natural through a skylight so when the sun goes behind a cloud you are in tough shape. Every single day was a surprise. What will the space look like today?! sometimes there would be equipment, futons and other random items all over the space and we had to move it wasting more time. The space was covered in disorganized cables and other tech equipment. At night the space was obviously being used for something else even though we had a secured 24 hr rental. By day three we were told that we could no longer use the bathrooms on site because there were a lot of people using the studios and their sewage system will back up because they are «green» and «off the grid». We had to walk across the street to the Citgo Station. Day four we found out that we were no longer able to park on site and we had to park at the community center which is not an easy walk. There is constantly incense burning in the lobby. Overall, Staff was lethargic. Totally unusable as a rehearsal space. The entire experience was wrought with disaster. Just Awful.
