This is a total chop shop. I bought a table from there and one month later it completely crashed in upon itself thank God my family was not sitting at it. Then the owner and TJ, tell me this is a freak accident and that the company who manufactures theproduct is no longer in business go figure. So they give me the floor model which after a few months does the exact same thing and caves in and breaks. Now the manager tells me it’s just like buying a used car it’s as is no warranty sorry we can’t help you. The manager Peter basically told me he sleeps well at night knowing he sells defective models units and doesn’t stand by his products because he’s just the retailer. If you’re like me and work hard and respectively for your money please do not go to this establishment to throw it down the drain there are several other choices like By Design next door. These are con artists running a swap meet.
***This is an updated edit to this review as you can see the owner replied to my original complaint below after the fact. The truth is they refused to give me any further assistance after the second unit crashed again I was told we did all we could and there’s nothing further we can do. The fact is he’s trying to act as if he resolved the issue with me which is a bold face lie. The unit in my house currently was purchased from «by design» next-​door.***
This update is on June 10, 2016 as I realize the owner responded to my original review below stating that they replaced the broken unit with another table. It is true they did but it was the exact same model that exploded and broke in my house before. No wait for it, wait, wait… wouldn’t you believe it the model exploded and broke sending glass everywhere in my house a second time!!! Call the owner who lies below and he said I’m out of luck and that I was wrong for putting a negative review on Unilocal.I also reported him to the Better Business Bureau. Please do not waste your hard earned money this is a chop shop.

do not buy anything from this fraudulent thieves. the people there will be nice until you buy something from them. afterwards, you will regret buying from them due to the extreme high prices and the low-​quality items that they sell there. nothing will last very long and you will not be able to complaint or ask for any remedies due to their low customer service. they will try to avoid you at all cost. please read the terms on your invoice in case you do end up buying from them. however, i can guarantee you that you can find the same furniture or accesories in other furniture stores where they will give you a fair price and a better costumer service. don’tgo with looks because its very deceiving. dont spend your money on a place like this.

BEWARE! RIPOFF! TJ will overcharge you every chance he gets. Service is very poor plus poor communication around time when product arrives and what was ordered.
I ordered a coffee table and rug here from a salesperson, TJ. I was told the coffee table would take 2 to 3 weeks to come in and the rug would take 2 to 3 days to come in. Was charged 740 dollars for the coffee table (which is very expensive for a coffee table but since the table was exactly what we wanted AND I was on a time restraint because I needed the table by the 4^th week for a party I figured it was worth it). I also ordered an 8×10 rug to be ordered and delivered to their warehouse in 2 to 3 days. Well they never called to let us know that the rug came in but we figured hey let’s just pick it up when they let us know the coffee table is ready. I call a week prior to expected arrival of the coffee table just to check on the status. We find out then that the coffee table was an NEW item not in their catalog yet and would take 2 to 3 months to come in so they offered us the display! Are you kidding me? We waited 3 weeks to get the display. NO! It doesn’t help that we didn’t get one call to make us aware. We ended up canceling the order on the coffee table and getting our money back.
But OH, it gets better. The 8×10 rug that we communicated to TJ to order for us was a scam too. TJ ordered the 5×8 and charged us the 8×10 price. YES you heard it we got charged $ 714 dollars for a 5×8 rug when the cost was really $ 499. Because we didn’t notice this on our invoice at first we almost got ripped off. However, after returning the coffee table and doing the difference between what was spent and the cost of the table there was still $ 714 dollars it looked like we spent so we started asking questions. We are currently in the process of trying to get a refund for the carpet. We asked for the owner but of course we can never get that number. I just hope the owner knows how shady his sales people are because they are probably scamming lots of people out of money and they don’t even notice. This has been by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and the most frustrating. I would recommend EVERYONE to steer clear. There are plenty of other furniture stores on Jimmy Carter Blvd. besides this establishment that deliver on their promises, communicate effectively, and offer better service when problems arise. Avoid if you want to keep your sanity!!!
