This review is only for the tcc bookstore area not the store as a whole. I’ve been here a few times and every time I’ve encountered shady attitudes and/or confusion, you can have all of your order info, identification, notification/confirmation emails available yet things never go smoothly, the pickup area in the back is just… ugh there’s one employee in particular that I’ve encountered who always has a shady boots attitude like he doesn’t want to be there and makes the whole experience unpleasant, he’s short, wears glasses and has the complexion of the musician prince… I don’t know if he hates his job or if he’s just like that all of the time but he really kills the mood of the student bookstore area, he’s done so without being provoked on multiple visits. Moving along, the order lookup system/software being slow and not user-friendly/unorganized but it always seems to work against the employee trying to use it and I think this adds to the overall employee moral is always extremely low but there’s always confusion finding orders and tired looks on most employees faces. Management needs to give(some of) them raises and update its systems so picking up materials goes smoothly and employees project a more upbeat energy throughout interacting with customers.
