Ruby Tuesday

Stopped in for a late dinner. Love that it’s within easy walking distance to the hotel. Nobody greeted us when we walked in but it was around 8:30. I ordered the Bella chicken and a beer. Food was average, what you would expect from RT. Staff was friendly, food came out pretty quick. Overall a pretty decent experience.

27min wait. And counted additional 8mins that the food sat under the warmer before being served. For tenders and fries. Gave food back to be microwaved

Plain and simple, horrible, don’t even know how a RT under this conditions exist, food is plainly bad, the salad bar looks like the vegetables and lettuces have been seating there for days.
I had the ribs, and I could not finishes them. People just avoid this place.

Finally adding my review.
We will not patron this establishment. Three strikes and you are out.
We have walked out twice for not being served. Once was when they first opened so we choked it up to a new crew. The second was six months after they opened. We figure they should have the kinks worked out by then. We were wrong. We were even seated next to another servers table. She didn’t acknowledge us either! The third and final straw was when we were sat at a table where my elbow practically rested on another table. The restaurant was empty and to this day still can not figure out why we were sat right on top of another table. The food took forever to come out. Our appetizer came out after our entrees. When it arrived we told the waitress to take it back. We didn’t want it since it came out after our entrees. They didn’t even take the appetizer off the ticket. The food was cold. The baked potato was like ice. When the manager came to our table she acted like it was all our fault. She even went as far to say there is no way the baked potato was cold. Well we picked it up with our bare hands and held it for the duration of the conversation. You shouldn’t be able to hold a fresh baked potato in your hand.
Overall three really bad experiences!

Our server was Janet, she was so respectful and a very hard working waitress. The food was delicious, my wife ordered her steak medium rare and didn’t like it so we sent it back. They gladly took it back and cooked it to perfection! Janet’s attitude was amazing and she was on top of her service. If I’m ever in the Norfolk area I would gladly go out of my way to come to this Ruby Tuesdays. Keep up the great work Janet, we appreciate your service.

Food wasn’t very good at all. Sirloin overcooked. Too bad because the Garlic butter they out on it was pretty good. The Thai rolls were not very tasty and the Thai dipping sauce was not up to the normal degree of Thai hot. Disappointing. Our server Tashala was not very attentive either. Overall negative experience.

I’ve come here a couple of times the last few days because it’s in walking distance from my hotel the food is always good and spot on. but the service is a little slow at times depending on who your server is you can either wait an extra 10 minutes or have prompt service, it’s a ramble. Sometimes they ask if I want biscuits other times it’s completely ignored but all in all I enjoy eating here and will return.

Ordered the glazed bourbon Pork chop with loaded baked potatoe and green beans. This food was flavor able and juicy and the drinks were on point. The staff was great and funny and mgmt was on top of things even checked on is through out the evening. I would definitely eat here again and that is saying ally because I have never been a ruby Tuesday Fan

I’m a fan of ruby Tuesdays. Their staff is always pleasant especially at this location. No matter the hour you come in they’re good with hospitality.

I travel a lot. So sometimes it’s a quick bite at a chain restaurant. I’m usually not a big fan of chain restaurants. But I have to say they had the best buffalo strips ever. They where so moist and not dried out. They did not taste frozen at all. And happy hour price was even better! Salad bar was great too. Very fresh and clean. The staff was polite and attentive. Better then some expensive fancy place. Big thumbs up for the manager for having a great team to make this Ruby Tuesdays go up and above.

Ordered ribeye, mashed potatoes and salad bar. I must admit that the salad bar was great but the ribeye steak was very thin and dry. It seemed more like a flank steak than a ribeye. I had to order steak sauce to help eat it (that is not a compliment).

4 – 7 happy hour $ 5 pitchers and get a $ 1 appetizer and add the salad bar for $ 2.99 LOVE IT

Good food. Lots of choices. I do like a place with a salad bar, so you can have it your way. I had the salad bar and grilled jumbo shrimp with rice pilaf. Shrimp was good, rice was so-​so. Not a fancy place, but place good to grab a bite at a reasonable price.

First time to a Ruby Tuesday and so far it’s been great. Friendly staff, great menu selection and drink specials! And it’s within walking distance from our hotel! Now I’ll have to see if the menu is any different back in Ohio

This location is a little better than the other location in Hampton Roads, friendlier staff and food taste even better? The only thing I don’t like about the salad bar at Ruby Tuesdays is it’s always in the front near the entrances? Don’t get it…
Had the new Po boy shrimp flatbread, so delicious! Got it for an appetizer but big enough for a meal. Also the bourbon salmon is always good if you don’t know what to decide.

Stopped in just before closing time when we got off work the other night. Just sat in a booth with friends and had a few nightcaps.
On this trip the service and drinks were great. The drinks actually came in the correct glasses too! Good service and fairly priced wine, beer and mixed drinks. Plus, it was quiet enough to have a decent conversation without being drowned out by background music!

In my visit to Virginia Beach I was Staying at the Courtyard which was a walkable distance from here and with it being 11pm and no car to go anywhere else i gave this place a try. Place seemed pretty slow since it wasn’t near closing time and they were already cleaning up but they still greeted us with a smile and seated us right away. Instead of getting two glasses of white peach sangria, our waitress recommended us to just get a pitcher for about the same price. Soooo glad we did that! it was so incredibly good! I plan to go back to Ruby’s just to get another pitcher. Food was just ok i got the chicken mushroom pasta dish and it was ok not bad and nothing to brag about. customer service though was great! gotta love that about the south.

I met a business partner here for lunch. I made the mistake of ordering the fish tacos. I will admit that I am prejudiced because I live in San Diego and there are a number of places with great fish tacos. The Ruby Tuesday fish tacos were awful. The fish was a sliver of unknown origin on a cold stale tortilla. There was no side dishes and no dressings. The waitress did bring sour cream and salsa after asking but guacamole was an additional $ 2. The 2 fish tacos were $ 9. I should have refused the meal but I thought I could make it through if I covered them in sour cream and salsa, they were still bad. Since I had eaten one, the waitress made no offer to compensate for the bad food. She did keep our drinks full. Lesson learned, I will never eat here again.

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The service is excellent. Salad bar is fabulous. Main entrees delicious and such a good variety. We are very particular and eat out frequently and have been here twice in 3 days. We brought 26 people here today for a birthday and everyone loved it. Prices moderate. Full bar as well.

We just rolled in town and after fighting the traffic, a 6 hour ride, we were hungry. We walked in and were seated immediately, great for a Friday night. Waitress arrived and shortly after I was drinking a tall Miller Light draft, one of three. :)
I started with the Southwestern Spring Rolls (Grilled chicken, veggies, black beans, cheeses, and cilantro wrapped in tortillas and fried. Served with ranch dressing.). They were pretty decent.
I ordered the Ruby Minis (USDA Choice minis topped with American cheese, Ruby’s mayonnaise, ketchup, and a crisp pickle), Mac and Cheese and the Garden Bar. Burgers were ok, iceburg lettuce on the salad bar could have been a little fresher.
