Today my co-worker and I wanted to try something different. A delectable smell caught our attention and this led us to the place. Once inside it’s easy to look past the rather spartan décor to their appetizing menu. I ordered«The Ritter», a herb-crusted, chicken sandwich w/pesto on a grilled panini. The sandwich was delicious in spite of the bread being seriously charred in the sandwich press. The amazing flavors in this sandwich and my side(potato salad) kept me from rating this place any lower than three stars, but I will give them another try in the coming weeks. I think that they deserve another shot:)

I have had several sandwiches and salads from them. So glad to have the bistro open! So much better than grabbing a quick sandwich at subway. The Granby is my favorite sandwich/wrap. A great size sandwich for the price and always tastes so fresh. The cilantro and thai lime dressing are delicious together. The Chris 3 Way Hill is a monster sandwich — I can’t finish the whole thing in one sitting. A great deal for a very filling, hearty lunch. I always have people stop by my office when I pick up a sandwich to find out what smells so good. My office has also had them cater a couple of our lunch meetings and the owners have been very accommodating and helpful in getting us exactly what we need. I love having this new place downtown — do yourself a favor and stop by!

Food was really good nice to have a quality sandwich in Downtown Norfolk for under ten bucks. I have been four times had the powhatan, gordon, and the fish tacos. Really just good awesome clean flavors. Its nice that the owner is right there to chat with you and share his insights on food. They also make their cold cuts in house which is pretty cool. Overall a really good afforadable lunch and breakfast spot that is always constantly doing something new and creative.
