The Foleck Center

I am new to the area and I was on the hunt for a great dentist so my friend recommend I check out the Foleck Center. So I did! And today was my first visit. The outside appearance of the building is nice, however I don’t like the fact that parking is limited, but that can be expected in the downtown area. I would suggest arriving a few minutes earlier than your appointment so you can find parking. Upon arriving I was greeted by the staff who were all very friendly. One of the staff members asked me some routine questions and had me sign a few papers and then I was shown to the back where my cleaning would take place. I was surprised by how open the layout of the room was. Each station is only separated by a shelf and table so everyone is in one large room. I thought it was a bit odd but nonetheless it worked and my cleaning went well. :) the hygienist, Jennifer was super informative and friendly. She was much friendlier than the actual doctor (Dr. Boyd) in my opinion! Haha There was not much chatter from him. He came in, did one simple procedure, and left. I am not used to my dentist being so short with me, and that is why I gave this place four stars instead of five… but I suppose he did his job well and felt that was all he needed to do. (Maybe he just wasn’t in the mood) I think I will ask to see a different doctor next time (they have several) because I would like to feel comfortable enough to where I can ask questions and what not. He was gentle and not too rough and that’s all that matters to me. Overall, it was a good experience. I will be going back in six months for another cleaning:)
