The New Leaf

I was in the area for a college graduation and was extremely happy with the bouquet made for the graduation. They even had ribbon with the schools name on it to wrap the bouquet. The owner and staff were very gracious even though very busy as Mother’s Day was the next day. I highly recommend this florist!!!

Called in the morning to order an arrangement for my wife’s birthday. I told them that I wanted it to be unique and original. We went through some different flower types and I told them to do what they wish and use their own artistic interpretation of what I envisioned. I asked if it could be done in a few hours and they were absolutely okay with it. I must say, it came out incredible! My wife is going to be so excited when I surprise her! Thank you so much! My aunt was a floral designer from the time she was 18; I worked at her florist in Virginia Beach for many years (as did my Mom, trained by my Aunt). I know the difference between something that’s been thrown together and something that’s done with talent and care. The designers are New Leaf are wonderful — they know what they are doing, they add special touches, their own creativity, and they really listen to the customer’s wishes. In the past two years, I have ordered numerous floral arrangements and gift baskets from New Leaf– every time, I’ve received rave reviews from the recipient. The designs are modern and unique, yet comforting and beautiful. Exactly the right balance. Finally, the owners have taken very special care with my orders (several were for remembrance/​sympathy) in a way that you just don’t get at other places. I’m grateful to have found this florist (now that my Aunt is retired), allowing me to send a beautiful and loving message to those I care about back home.
