As per our lease, we were required to have the carpets cleaned upon move out. We were given two companies to choose from and TidyMAX was cheaper by a long shot. When we moved into the house the carpet was in bad shape. When we questioned the property management company we were told that the owners had them cleaned, they were just worn. After having them cleaned by TidyMAX, I’m not so sure I believe that because the carpet looked much better, yet still worn. The two guys that came to clean the carpets were really nice and I have no complaints about their service or quality of work. The only complaint I have is that due to some scheduling mistakes on their part, my husband and I spent hours waiting around on TidyMAX. Somehow someone managed to write our appointment down for the correct time, wrong day. After an hour of waiting past the scheduled appointment time, my husband called and spoke to someone that told us he’d pass our info along to their office and someone would be in touch. After another hour of waiting to hear back, I called and spoke to the same person. He said someone was supposed to have been in touch and again, he’d pass our info along and we’d hear back. This time, we did. Imran, I believe was his name, was very apologetic and he was able to send his people out that afternoon. I understand that sometimes these things happen but it was a huge inconvenience. Based on the service they provided alone, they were great. However, they made no effort to make up for their mistake other than an apology. Maybe, if this type of situation occurs in the future, they should consider offering a discount. Just a thought. :)
