Good food and service for a good price. I had a blt with 2 eggs on it and it was very good. «Just like momma fixed it».

Simple diner food. Only tried breakfast. Pancakes, sausage, home fries, eggs and toast. All for under $ 7. Also ordered lemon pie about $ 2.50 hubby said it was good. Will be back to try a burger and fries. Looked clean inside and waitress was nice. Ordered to go and service was quick. About 10 mins for food.

Sorry Tony, but we won’t be back. Diners harken back to real, simple food. Boxed mashed potatoes for the fail.

My favorite meal of the day is breakfast. That being said this place is mediocre at best. Nothing in particular wrong just nothing special.

Stopped in here after a morning of sight seeing. Got there about 1:45 and found out they closed at 2:30. We were attracted by the shiny silver exterior. Reminded us of diners in the 50’s. Waitresses told us to come on in and have a seat. We ordered drinks and the Royal Burger. Burger arrived as ordered and was huge! Better have a large appetite. A very quiet down-home type diner. Their breakfast menu looks very interesting. Might venture back if we have the time. Worth the trip if you want a no-frills diner with just good food.

Decent place for breakfast. Food tasted pretty good. Prices are low. Coffee was good. Service was wonderful. We had pancakes and a western omelet. They were ok, but nothing wonderful.

Tony’s Diner has yet to fail to please after my regular visits. I normally order a Cheese Burger and Fries at 9 am in the morning. Unlike most places, they server lunch with a smile at anytime. I can actually say that I am a regular at this Diner. The grouchy, funny, but kind waitress staff are always good to put a smile on your face. The Diner itself is dated, but the good food and awesome down home service makes that fact not so important. I recommend Tony’s Diner to anyone looking for good service and excellent Diner style food.

This is an old fashioned diner, folks! Don’t come here expecting anything fancy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The waitresses treat you just like family. I come here often and I tend to order the same thing. If it isn’t a waffle, I’m asking for pancakes. I only order breakfast food no matter what time I arrive. This place has great pancakes, waffles, and delicious home fries! Some diners claim they have home fries and you end up not getting the real deal. Tony’s has the best home fries in the area. Real, hand-cut potatoes! GREATPRICES!

I go here as often as I can. The food is always delicious and prices are unbeatable! I go here especially on Wednesdays, when you can get a ½ LB Bacon Cheeseburger with steak fries for ~ $ 4.75. Great service, food, and prices.

Cool little spot. Retro rock and roll décor. Friendly staff, good service and decent food. Just wish they had longer operating hours.

Lazy Sunday brunch, at least the service that is. Decent diner food. Eggs were cooked well and the home fries were good, but the service. Ugh. I judge diners by my coffee cup and here they failed. Took almost 10 min before I got my first cup and I never got a refill before I was ready to leave. There were lots of empty tables so it definitely wasn’t because it was busy. If you have some spare time and want some nostalgia, this is the place. Just grab a cup of joe from home before you go.

Tony’s dinner is good if you want a small town vibe where the staff cares about its regulars. But the food is mediocre. Don’t waste your money on food you can make better at home. The staff is nice and attentive.

Stopped in here on our way down to OBX for a quick bite. The turkey Reuben and tuna club sandwiches were both just right. The tuna club was a creamy mix of fresh tuna, chopped onions, and mayonnaise on a toasted hoagie with lettuce, tomato and melted provolone –very tasty and reminded me of the tuna sandwiches my mom would make. The turkey Reuben was also very tasty and perfectly made. The tasty sandwiches and friendly service and attentiveness garner this place 4 stars.

The day we first went to Tony’s I kept saying that I was craving a burger. A GOOD burger. So we set out to drive around town, and came across Tony’s Diner, which I had noticed before due to its unique appearance. We pulled in, and just in time! The hours I think are about 7am to 2:30pm. Staff noticed my son and I right away, and told us to sit wherever we liked. There was more than enough to choose from on the menu and a few different items sounded great, but I knew what I came for. My four year old ordered chocolate milk and pancakes, I got the bacon burger. We waited about twenty minutes for our food, when it came out I was surprised to see the portions! For the price of the burger(around $ 5.50) I got a very large one, and a decent side of fries. The fries were cooked well, and the burger was not overdone. It tasted great! I also stole a few bites of pancakes, which were out of this world. Amazingly fluffy and perfectly sweet. I’ve been craving them since our visit!

The food was good and the staff was friendly! Our service was a bit slow though and people who ordered after us got their food first. Also two of the waitresses openly had an argument with each other in front of the whole restaurant. If you aren’t in a hurry, want some good food and entertainment ;) I would say head on down.

Stopped in recently with the girls for breakfast. Love the place, from outside in. Very comfy, friendly, and inviting. It’s obvious that they have their regulars, while we were there a couple of guys just stopped in to say hello. We ordered Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, with coffee all around. Quick service, good food. Would have liked more sausage in the gravy, but the flavor was holding it’s own. We were checked on often, but never rushed. Love the painting in the corning of that corner. Made me smile. Did have to wait a bit at the counter to pay, as it seemed there was only one person that could handle that part, but no biggie. All-in-all, good time, we’ll be back.

Like Pat G., I have driven by this place sooo many times and didn’t stop in for one reason or another, but my husband and I wanted to try somewhere new and happened to drive past on our way from the farmers market. This is typical diner food, at a nice diner price. I got the club sandwich(yum!) and my husband got breakfast food. We both really enjoyed our meals and had nice service too. I think this will be a nice default spot for us when we just want something casual and homemade.

I’ve driven by this place many times, can’t miss that silver streak, today I stopped. Hub had coffee, grits, pastrami sandwich on rye and french fries. I had the Ruben with cole slaw. My fingers first met up with the fries on the plate on the other side from me. They were piping hot and fresh cut. Someone in the kitchen cut up a real potato and fried the pieces then perfectly salted them, delish. Then my eyes set upon the cole slaw and notices it wasn’t perfectly chopped. In addition to whole potatoes they also have heads of green and purple cabbage in the kitchen, it was chopped in house. The first crunch verified this, then I got the confirmation from the very sweet waitress. The dressing was light with a little sweet and seasoned perfectly. The sandwiches were piled high with very lean meat with the perfect amount of gooey cheese, see pics. However the rye bread wasn’t toasted enough, the piece on the bottom was soggy. The Ruben didn’t have 1000 Island dressing, missed that. The only real issue I had was the catsup and mustard containers were greasy, I had to use a napkin to use them. I’d stop here again. with tax, 19.05.
