Wine & Cake Hobbies

Huge one stop shop, heard of this place all the way from California so I had to stop by while visiting my son and daughter in law. Everything you need is here nothing has been left out. I could have stayed for hours but I was with the grandbabies. Definitely a store to visit again with more time.

Love this place! You can literally find anything you need to make any desert you wish! As well home brewing accessories & party supplies. They have such a huge selection it’s a bit of a wonderland for any bakers or event planners.
If I’m making a special desert or cake I head straight there before going anywhere else.
They also have a very extensive website where you can purchase almost anything they sell.
The staff has always been nice and knowledgeable.
They also hold a host of classes throughout the year. I can’t speak for those but I’m sure they are well worth it.

How come I didn’t know this amazing shop past two years here in VA, I’m wondering…
They have so many things for hobbies and fun parties. Next time I’d like to stay there at least 1 hour.

Cool little shop. It’s like a Hobby Lobby but for all cake and baking related things.
I came here with my boyfriend because he had to pick up some clear, plastic containers for his products.
It’s an older shop, but they have lots of cool things inside. I’ve never seen so many cake toppings and decorations in my life. Now I know where to go if I ever need any cute things to put on top of cupcakes. I just wish it wasn’t so far and in the cut. The area is a little sketchy. I definitely wouldn’t go at night time. Or alone.
The prices seem decent too! There’s a section for cookware, decorating, & crafting. I didn’t even get to explore the whole store.
Cool spot though. I would def come here for cake and baking décor!

This place is a fantasy wonderland of cake decorating stuffs. Groupon had a special running on this place and I ordered it immediately.

This place is awesome. They have everything you could ever need. Though I used to buy my cake boards in packages they seem to only sell theirs in singles. I’m sure they have packages you can purchase though.
Its a little dated inside. Ok… it’s downright old but they have some excellent deals. If you don’t feel like shopping online for your cake supplies, definitely head over to Wine & Cake Hobbies. They’ll probably have whatever you’re looking for.
Also. I found their pricing to be really good. I’d definitely go back if I need some more luster dusts or melts or cupcake liners or super red americolor food gel.

Wine & Cake is a one of a kind place. Whenever I’m in need for anything baking/​candy making related, I don’t know of anywhere (except the internet of course) that even comes close.
I feel like such a girl (sorry if that comes off super sexist) when I’m there because I just love seeing what I can make next — hundreds of cookie cutters, candy molds, pans, dessert boxes. Goodness, I could go on and on.
If you look to make candies/​bake, this place is definitely worth checking out (at least once) — I know you will be back!

I could spend hours in this store. Practically anything a cake decorator, party planner, beer brewer, etc could want. One section of the store is devoted to candy making, cake decorating/​baking, beer brewing — and the other is full of party decorations (table covers, streamers) and paper party products. I often make cupcakes for baby showers and always stop in here for baking cups, sanding sugar, decorations and of course their butter cream icing — the best icing I’ve ever had.

If you want to do some serious home brewing this is the place in Hampton Roads to go. They have all the materials you’re going to need to get started or accent your growing collection of cauldron’s and other brewing equipment. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. You can find them on Tidewater Dr about 2 blocks from the Interstate.

This place is so cool, I can’t believe I just found out about it! We actually went there because it was recommended to us for decorations for a party my roommate and I were throwing. This place is HUGE, I couldn’t believe how many rooms there were for difference party occasions. There are tons of decorations for cakes, any kind of sugar decoration you’d ever want, there is a catering room, a wedding room, a room with wine and beer making supplies, the list goes on and on. I definitely want to go back when I have more time because we were there right before closing, but I swear I feel like I could spend 2 hours looking around this place.
The staff was very nice here, they helped us find everything we needed and the woman who rang me up at the end even let me slide with a debit card transaction under $ 5. If you are looking for any kind of decoration or baking supply you have got to check this place out!
