Good selection on both beers and wines. Bring close to campus they also sell a lot of kegs at excellent prices.

The liquor store of choice for this functioning alcoholic. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, I don’t exactly function, but the fact remains that Budget Liquors is a fantastic store.
Their selection of microbrews and imports is amazing, it’s probably the only place I’ve ever seen Schafly’s and Great Lakes in the same store. I absolutely love it. The selection of spirits isn’t quite up to «Binny’s» level proportions, but it is good. You can’t stay mad at a liquor store that stocked Mt. Gay Rum.
Now the staff, that’s something else. The staff is great, being a regular, they know me, and often create an atmosphere akin to «Cheers,» except they don’t witness my egregious sins fueled by alcohol, they just witness the purchase, even at 12:45am on a June Sunday. That’s good hours.
It may not be a superstore like Binny’s up north, but it’s close, local, well stocked and the prices are pretty decent. My advice: get drinks from these folks.
