Decent gym, good equipment for working out especially cardio. The tanning rooms are designed so poorly though, the inner door comes out all the way to the outer door, so you have to squeeze all the way into the corner when you’re trying to walk into the actual tanning booth. If they had only extended the outer room by a foot, it would be almost luxurious. I love that the gold level membership lets you bring a friend every time, so smart.

This is a great gym! It is sometimes crowded because it is an awesome gym! A lot of people in Bloomington-Normal like to workout at the same time! Would you expect a gym that wasn’t good to be crowded? Don’t pay attention to the parking lot of cars. Come in and try this gym! The staff is friendly and it is a great place for a workout!

I thought this gym was solid, if not spectacular. I tried it for a few months and after being tired of dealing with the over-crowding I was prepared to go a different way, no harm no foul. It was my terrible experience while trying to disengage from this place that has me irritated. I went in and talked with one of the front desk staff who took what I thought was my last payment via debit card, when he asked if I wanted to keep this card on file for future payments I told him no because I was terminating my membership. OK, thought I was done until a month later I get a bill for my monthly membership plus an annual fee. When I call Golds they say that you can only cancel via a 1 – 800 number and even though I was not told this, I still have to pay. When I ask how my card was used when I specifically told them not to keep it on file, I was told it looks like a mistake on their part but it was done so I just needed to suck it up. An over-crowded gym, plus terrible customer service equals a place I will encourage people to stay away from. Thank goodness a new gym is opening soon.

This place is very… meh. Sometimes it is ridiculously busy because it is «$ 10» a month, of course there are all the other fees such as the annual membership fees and if you ever want to transfer down from a «gold» membership there is an additional fee. I believe there was a sign up fee as well. All to the tune of $ 30 each. The front desk is basically clueless about policy and account information and there is tons of turnover at the front desk. As far as the gym part is concerned, it is ok. Limited availability of free weights, machines, and mirror space. I often feel like I am just in the way at this gym unless I am just staying around one area. If I need to utilize multiple areas for my workout and it is relatively busy I might as well just forget it. The price is basically the only thing that keeps this from being a 1 star experience.
