Great spot for a movie! Chairs are comfortable. Movie is a movie. Not pricey at all. Pretty cheap actually.

I am a fan of the 6 dollar movie tickets every day for students. Also a fan of free popcorn on Wednesdays.
Not always a fan of the screen size or torn up leather seats. But hey, it’s not too bad.

Tell them to fill the popcorn part of the way, then put the butter on it and shake it up, finally have them top it off and butter the rest. This ensures that the popcorn on the bottom gets buttery too. :-)

I’d say that the Starplex and the Wehrenberg are the two best movie theaters in town. The Starplex is on the north side of Normal near the ramp for I-​55. It is very busy when you would expect (Friday & Saturday evenings) and you may be forced to get creative with your parking. I saw people parked at the end of isles, alongside the building, in the grass, etc.
