Best place in town to get your ISU paraphernalia and books. Huge selection of clothing, school supplies, and kick-nacks. Adult staff is wonderfuly helpful; college workers’ helpfulness varies by employee. Discounts for faculty/staff after the end of each regular semester. Very nice option and adjacent to campus, always helping the campus community.

Convenient if you dont want to order books online, but expect to pay a pretty penny. I dont even bother anymore trying to return books for money here. I love to stop here to buy a drink or snack before class, and the souvenirs and apparel is cool too look at(Ive bought a few in the past)

The Alamo II hasn’t changed too much since my college days… there’s still a buttload of overpriced hoodies and ISU chotchkies(which I will admit, I bought some, but did end up putting some things back prior to purchase, tyvm), as well as all of the school supplies you could ever want. I did find it amusing that the majority of the«notebook» section has been replaced with some sort of technological hardware, cords, docking stations, etc. Oh, technology. The other thing that didn’t change much was the lack of employees. There were two girls at the counter, and that was about it. Not that you really need HELP sorting through $ 85 dollar hoodies, but you’d think there would be someone walking around the floor to see if they can offer assistance. Why did they get rid of the greek loft? I was really disappointed to see that it is now *storage* and the selection of greek stuff is now pre-made shirts and hoodies(they used to be sewn or ironed to order) and a very small selection of car decals, keychains, and mugs. None of my fraternity stuff was even carried(it was difficult enough before, now it’s practically impossible to find anything Alpha Phi Omega anywhere but online.) $ 70 something dollars later, I have a new hoodie, a license plate frame, a poster for the BF(on the rules of beer pong) and a redbull.

Average campus bookstore, with a wide offering from text books to ISU gear, all at semi-ridiculous prices. They have a decent selection of sorority/fraternity things, a large art supplies section, frisbee golf discs, and even sell cigs! Highlights: –Books here are overpriced and you WILLNOT get your moneys worth back at the end of the semester. (But sometimes this will be the only place you can get some books, in which case, they’re downstairs, staircase in back, or during the busy season, also in the front left of the store) –They have a clearance section! With cute stuff to boot! Towards the back, just behind the steps. –They take Red Bird $$‘s –Best place I’ve found so far for ISU window clings
