Omg yum!!! We bought the chicken lo mein, spare ribs, egg rolls, hot and sour soup, and three different sushi rolls, everything was amazing and fresh! I ordered delivery, and they forgot our utensils but everything else was spot on, we’ll be ordering from here again!

Very unimpressed. I took my family here for lunch. The sesame chicken cold and slimy. The lo-mein was sticky and over cooked. We were sat away from all of the other customers and felt very singled out. None of the food looked fresh. None of it was properly labeled. Even the staff was off-putting. Shortly after we were seated, they began to yell at one another in the corner. The sweet tea tasted like syrup. This will be the last time I come here.

I can never said no to Asian buffet’s sushi and Mongolian grill. The lunch buffet is only $ 6.99 plus tax. And they do delivery too :)

This place is under rated, really good food for the price. The staff is very friendly and the quality is good.

I just came from this restaurant(today is saturday 14÷02÷14) and I will not return back to eat there again. The food are quiet bad and the service was awful. If I will give a rate I will go with minus star and thumb down.

I ate at the buffet for supper in June 2011. It is average(but solid) Chinese food at a very fair price($ 6.50 for all-you-can-eat buffet) that will not make you ill.

My boyfriend talked me into going here as I was extremely reluctant and with good cause — I read the Unilocal reviews. Service was decent. Friendly and fast to seat us and take drink orders but plates piled up a few times so not the best service. My tea was warm not hot so for the 2nd round of drinks I asked for more hot water/tea and then it was perfect. The food: oh boy where do I start… I tried the following and will rate as titled. ***What was decent *** Cucumber salad: Tasty and fresh Octopus salad: Decent but a bit bland. Crab salad: Really good! On the sweet side. Fried wonton: Okay but I’ve had better. Egg rolls: Good and tasted fresh. Sushi: Pretty good but only two selections. Soup: I had both. They were both very bland Frog legs: Really good! A must try. Banana Pudding: Quite decent. Worth trying Cherry turnover/pie: The best thing I had there. Chicken and beef dishes all were dry as a bone and just BAD Fried Rice was horrible! I nearly broke my tooth on a petrified piece of rice cause it was so overcooked and lord knows how long it was sitting there. It looked fresh which under the circumstances makes it even worse that it was so hard! Salmon was way over cooked and under seasoned. The desserts they had all tasted like some stale cake shipped from China. It was horrible. I seriously am only giving it 2 stars cause of the items I listed which were positive but it was about 15% of the entire offerings they had so that’s pretty lame. Also the bathroom is pretty dingy and gross. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this place. My stomach was doing backflips all night into the next day from what I consumed at this establishment. Next time I’m sorry but my bf won’t be getting me to try a place out when many Unilocalers have already voted NO. Lesson learned. But I was hopeful lol

7 bucks for lunch. Around 9 bucks for dinner. Clean. Décor is standard. Heard this was one of the better Asian buffets in Norman, but I’m always skeptical when people tell me these things. Different strokes for different folks ya know?! They have a lot to offer, but because it wasn’t that busy– the food wasn’t really fresh. EEP! Case in point– there was a huge slab of salmon sitting in a watery buttery bath. I dipped the spoon into a part of the fish and it was hard. Oh boy. Next, I decide to try a fried piece of bread. It sounded like a good idea at the time, but bad news bear my friends. It was cold and the bottom of it was rock hard as well. The sushi was surprisingly ok, but I don’t know if it was because I was super duper hungry and couldn’t eat any of the other stuff. The hibachi or mongolian grill thingee was tasty and fresh though. The veggie dishes were actually my favorites of the night! The upside is that you can order fresh stuff from the server. Downside? They put it right on top of the old stuff in the buffet. Eww. I think a good time to go to this place is during the school season at lunch.

I can’t figure out the one star reviews. It’s on the way home from work, so I pick up to-go buffet dishes quite often. There’s another 3 Chinese places along the route I skip, and even those don’t deserve 1 star. First off– the sushi is usually great, especially on the dinner buffet. This is shocking, because usually buffet sushi is not good at all. But I would hold their sushi up to Full Moon, O asian fusion, or any other sushi place in Norman. The variety isn’t there; you take what’s on the buffet, after all, and not all sushi styles translate to the buffet. The other caveat is that about 10−15% of the time another, not as good sushi chef is on duty and it’s kind of bland buffet sushi. But most of the time it is superb. For instance, they usually have inarizushi(sushi rice packed in aburaage, or seasoned tofu skin) and very artistic Rainbow rolls. But I swear, i’ve been there dozens of times, and never once was their sushi«spoiled and nasty». At dinner they also have all-you-can-eat snow crab legs on the buffet, and jiaozi(fried dumplings, aka gyoza) that are really good. They also have the usual selection of deep fried stuff, but unlike other buffets in town, they go further(yes, I’m looking at YOU, Panda Garden across the street, cut it out with deep frying everything). They have a lot of grilled pork, beef, and chicken dishes and stir fry type stuff that are good. I have a weakness for their coconut shrimp. They always have really tasty hot-sour soup, packed with mushrooms and tofu. They have the industry standard bland egg drop soup too. So, if you’ve posted a one star review(1 star? doesn’t that mean rats are gnawing on a table leg?) I think you should give them another day in court. Maybe they wouldn’t be a 5 star in Taipei, or even LA, but they are definitely in my rotation for dining in Norman.

I hate to say it, but I have been to many chinese buffets in my lifetime, I usually love them, but I’m sorry this had to be the worst one I’ve been to. I tried just about everything on the buffet, and could only enjoy a couple of things. Even simple things like General Tso’s chicken, fried rice, eggrolls, etc., were all old tasting. Every single bite of food I had all had a very concentrated, salty aftertaste. And believe me, I love salt but this was ridiculous. The sushi that my boyfriend bit into was spoiled and nasty. The only thing I can see people going back for is the unlimited crab legs, which were pretty good. Other than that, I don’t see how things for example, that are frozen and just need to be deep fried can be screwed up so badly.

Terrible food. I ordered the Ma Pao tofu, broccoli, and the seaweed roll. The tofu hadn’t been drained, so it was bland and mushy; the vegetables included in the dish were a frozen pea/carrot mix. Both dishes were smothered in an overly sweet brown sauce. The sushi had a strange and unpleasant sweetness. This was all the more disappointing because the online delivery service was excellent. They need a new cook. Why doesn’t Norman have a decent Chinese delivery restaurant?

So I found this Asian Buffet place on urbanspoon was very excited to go here. I’ve been in search of a good buffet in Oklahoma but so far have no luck at all. I checked out the websites and everything looks so good, especially the sushi. I’ve been looking forward to this place ALLWEEK. Today was the day when I would go out of my way 20 miles away just to try this place. My first impression was that this place looked alright and was ready to dig in. The waitress seated me and asked me what I wanted to drink and I told her orange soda. She was confused. So then I asked her what do you have to drink then she almost didn’t even know what kind of drinks they serve at the restaurant. The only thing I heard from her was Dr. Pepper and some tea so I said Dr. Pepper is fine. My first stop was straight to the sushi. They didn’t have much selection of sushi at all. I went back to my table and tried it and I have to say that I was pretty disappointed. Some of the sushi had something sweet in it, I couldn’t figure out what it was but it was pretty nasty. Some of the rolls are just big on the sushi rice and less filling. Even though the filling was pretty nasty it self. After my 1st plate of sushi I decided that no more sushi from this place today and went to try the other hot foods. The chow mein noodle tasted decent and a couple other items. The rest of the food here wasn’t good at all. Some of the trays had barely and food it was pathetic. Especially the baked salmons. The pieces of salmon were so small and there was barely any on the tray. After my 3rd plate I decided that I was done. It’s picture time !!! As I was taking my pictures minding my own business this punk kid who works there came up to me speaking broken english to me. «Excuse sir, what are you doing? You can’t take pictures of the food. » Uhh, ok. I can’t take any pictures of your food because it tasted so bad and I just want to share with the world how bad this place is. Don’t get me wrong here, the waitresses were nice but this kid was just a douche bag. Well, I got some pictures from this place and you can check it out. The pictures they have on their website is deceiving. It looks good and all but when you try it, it’s terrible. I regret driving 20 miles to this place. What a waste of gas and money. I’ll never come back here again.
