Auto Valet Full Service Carwash

Don’t go here if you have less than 2 hours to wait. Went in on a weekday with about 2 1 – 2 hours of time to spare. They had 4 cars ahead of me.
I waited 50 minutes and looked to see where my car was in the que. It was still 4^th in line. Not a single car was worked on while I waited. I asked how much longer, they could not say. 45 minutes later I got my car. They still had not finished, but I had to leave for an appointment.
Will not go back even with the free wash they gave me. Not worth that much of my time.
BTW my car was a Honda Civic and it was not very dirty.
Did a fair job cleaning the car but not worth the $ 50 I paid.
Horrible customer service. A manager did not even want to talk to me.

Went there yesterday and spent 45 dollars on a super car wash … Been a customer for years and had the worst service ever !! The owners father or older manger came up to me when I was on a important phone call and was yelling at me to never bring my car up there with papers and trash in the floor boards. I had three packages in the car that got thrown away or conveniently got left out of my car. When I got out of my car the valet worker came running up to me and said oh did you want these after I questioned him about the packages. That sat wrong with me so I called the manager and they acted like it was no big deal. Also they left trash under the seats and did a poor job cleaning the windows! Buyer beware.

Had my interior detailed and they did a good job of that but the customer service was terrible. There were a number of people standing around and joking with each other. They hardly even acknowledged I was there and I had to assert myself just to be able to get their attention long enough to pay out. I went to get in my car and the mats were lying outside and no one said a word to me or helped as I went around putting all four mats back in the car myself.

WOW, has this place gone down hill. You will NOT get a professional clean for $ 36.00. You will get a semi clean. I had to spot clean the outside and totally clean the inside when I got home. We have used them for years, but not anymore.

I am torn on Auto Valet. On the one hand, they generally do good work for the ares they wash. But, they tend to leave a certain area uncleaned every time. It’s not the same area, but it’s like they just can’t get the entire car clean. For example, on my last trip, they failed to completely dust the instrument console. On the trip before that, the area around the gear shift in the center console wasn’t wiped down at all. So, while the more expensive washes do last on the exterior (unless we get a bad rain), the car is never COMPLETELY cleaned. And, the higher end wash is $ 36, and I do not believe it is worth this charge. That being said, I keep coming back because it’s near my house.
The people are friendly and the facility is nice. There is a small waiting room, of course with various snacks and drinks you can purchase. If your car is going to be a long time, do what I do and walk over to La Baguette for a beer or 2. The bathrooms at Auto Valet are clean, as is the facility. I’ve certainly waited on a car wash in worse places.
They usually aren’t quick, even if there is not much of a line. And, if you purchase one of the more expensive washes, be prepared to wait at least an hour. As noted above, the results at this place are far from perfect. But, I will return, because 90% is better than nothing.

Never again. Spent $ 36 on a super valet wash and had to ask them to revacuum it and wipe down the interior again b/​c it looked half assed and not done. I had to wipe down the interior myself b/​c I wasnt asking them to redo it again. And the mats still werent vacuumed well. The exterior wash was great but the interior work sucked. Kids working there were nice but it was just half assed. The whole experience irked me. Fast Lane on Main does a better job. Oh and I was an hour and fifteen minutes. Ugh.

This place used to be top notch. It was quick, friendly and most of all they did a really good job. In the last few years it has continuously gone down hill. Quality of cleaning has gone down and takes them «forever» to get one car done. Seems like a lack of quality control or lack of pride in the work. I see some guys wandering around lobby instead of helping others where needed or some just waiting on someone to tell them what to do. Gone are the days of a fast and quality car wash here.

They forgot to do my car’s detailing at two different appointments !.One time I had a reservation in advance .The second time I called at 8:00am. They could do it now and it would take three hours. BUT THEY FORGOT TO DO it again.!So they have wasted a total of six hours of my life for the two appointments. This is a poor service business. Burn me once, burn me twice– i’d have to be a complete idiot to come for a third.

I had my 8 year old Saturn detailed there yesterday. I wouldn’t have believed it could look so good. Money very well spent.

Had a free coupon for a wash/​vac. THEY LOCKED MY KEYS INSIDE MY CAR! The sad thing is that they acted like this had happened before. I had to wait 30 minutes for the locksmith to come. Who runs a car through an automatic car wash with the keys in the ignition and no one in the vehicle? They did a good job vacuuming the floorboards, but failed to vacuum the rear seats/​cup holders/​etc. The wash looked good. The people working there were friendly however, due to the circumstances I will be hesitant to return. There was a severe lack of professionalism.
