After some familiarity with several other bariatric surgery programs, I decided to move forward with Dr. Nelson at the Journey Clinic in the Norman Regional Health Center. I have nothing but praise for the entire program! Dr. Nelson and the entire team at Journey Clinic were extraordinarily helpful and supportive throughout the entire process of getting surgery.
I felt confident in the treatment I received in each facet of my «journey» including physical, mental, dietary, financial. If there were questions, they answered. If there were problems, they solved it. They took care of all communication with the insurance provider, and I was approved before I knew it.
During and after my surgery, I was treated with superior care. My pain was managed and they worked to make sure I was comfortable and safe. Now, post-​operatively, they are working with me to maximize my chances of success. You could not find a better program for bariatric surgery than Dr. Lana Nelson and the team at the Journey Clinic.
