WILLNEVERSTEPFOOTINTHISPLACEAGAIN. I thought I was doing myself a favor by coming here while shopping at the mall, instead of going out of my way to one of my usual salons. Bad decision. For starters, the lady who greeted me was beyond rude from the beginning and acted appalled when I declined the numerous additional services she wanted to tack on to what I wanted done. I understand trying to upsell, but do not continuously try over and over and over again and then act like that when someone politely declines. Additionally, do NOT, I repeat, DONOT get eyebrows, lip, or anything waxed here unless you want raw, red, burning, bumpy, irritated skin for SEVERALDAYS following. So embarrassing and not supposed to happen. This has never happened to me before and I get the same thing done every single month and have done so for years. I knew when the lady was ripping the wax off that something wasn’t right. sure enough, the burning sensation and redness(which is normal for a short amount of time following) did not go away and just got worse and worse as time went on. Almost a week later and it’s still red, dry, and irritated!!! Awful.

Came in with a friend today as she insisted that I would love the place. We called ahead of time so we did not have to wait when we got here. People are very nice and friendly. The place is clean and organized. The lady who did my pedicure was very attentive and gentle with my nails. She took extra time to make sure all my requests were met. My nails turned out exactly just how I like it. Perfect shaping and length. My friend is right, this is one of the best nail salons I have ever been to. Reasonable price.

Immediately upon arrival, I was hounded by the brothel madam — er… salon manager asking me what I wanted and to pick out a color. I had really no time to get a good look at the colors since he hounded me about 3 times so I ended up just choosing a pink & white full set since I didn’t want to make a decision under pressure. They were busy, but the manager made me feel as if I were in a cheap wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am brothel instead of a salon. I’m not sure why he needed to know what color I was getting since he was not the one doing my nails? Perhaps to make sure his poor workers gave him the right percentage. I got a really good tech who I will not name because I do not want them fired for my negative review since it was not their fault, but the manager’s fault that I am giving this review. They did a really good job on my nails and I am impressed with the quality, but they used an electric file on my natural nails which is EXTREMELY bad for nails, and can lead to bleeding and infection. They did not ask me if I preferred a regular nail file or the electric one, they just took out the electric and ravaged my natural nail. Very. Un. Professional. Will not be going back, it seems the staff are worked like race horses and the greedy management wants you in and out as quickly as possible to take your money. I’m not even sure if the tech was able to keep all of the money I gave them as a tip. As an independent contractor, I know how crappy management tries to get away with exorbitant fines and ridiculous fees on their workers and I do not take kindly to it. Make sure your tech is getting most of the money you pay them for their services before you decide on which salon to go to.

Came here for a manicure/pedicure combo package. The staff is professional, accommodating and so nice. My pedicure lady did a good job. She cut, trimmed, and shaped my toes nail amazingly and the massage was great, I needed that. The manicure lady was as good as her. They both did a fantastic jobs, just what I needed. The space is clean and enjoyable and I really love their played music list. Prices were reasonable even though it locates in the mall. Overall, it was a great experience for me to come here.

If you go in for a simple acrylic fill, beware. No one in the salon wants to spend time doing a $ 15 fill when there are bigger services with a bigger payoff. I went in for a fill and I was moved to a different station and different nail tech SIX times! One removed a portion of my polish. One lightly filed four of my nails. One put primer on my nails(which still had polish and were not filed). They finally moved me to the fastest tech so he could finish my fill and move on to clients who were getting more expensive services. I asked him to make sure he removed all of the dark polish I had on BEFORE putting acrylic over it. I also asked him not to start until my nails were filed so that the acrylic would bond. He said, «yeah. I’ll do good for you.» He did not. Most of the polish was left on the tips of my nails and my nails were never fully filed. This was literally the WORST«fill» I’ve ever gotten. He ruined my perfectly shaped nails with a lump of acrylic at the top and did not put any acrylic anywhere else. He did NOTEVENATTEMPTTOFILE the lump or any other portion of my nails after putting acrylic on. He lightly swiped the buffer access each nail one time and then told me to wash my hands. I stood at the sink staring in horror. The lump of acrylic didn’t even go up to my cuticle. It was just a random lump of acrylic plopped on my nails without any real effort to smooth and even it. I went back to the station and he was already at a new station working on someone else’s nails. I sat and waited. He finally rushed over and I tried to show him all of the issues with my nails and he said«you picked red polish. It will look pretty. You won’t see it.» He then LITERALLY began slapping polish on my nails while looking up and around the salon. He did not polish the entire nail on any finger. The top, tips and sides had no polish whatsoever. I asked him to polish my entire nail and pointed out all of the unpolished parts and he looked at them and put more polish on ONE nail getting the polish on my skin on the side and above my cuticle and didn’t wipe it off. He then quickly got up and went to the other client to work on her nails and totally ignored my requests to fix my nails. He rushed back over to me and while standing, slapped a top gel coat on my nails which was put on too thick and immediately began to bubble. He told me to go to the drying station and I kept telling him that my nails were messed up and needed to be fixed. He pretended not to hear. He just picked up my purse and shopping bags and walked over to the drying station and put them in the chair and told me to «sit here and I’ll fix for you.» I had already given him my credit card before he started my nails. He charged my card and walked back and told me «sign for me» and walked away. I just picked up my things and card and walked out. Did the polish smear everywhere? Yes. Did it matter? No. Why? Because they were ruined before he even told me to wash my hands anyway. I’ve NEVER been treated that way and I’ve NEVER had someone treat my nails with such disregard. If someone gave me a choice to do it again or set my $ 15 on fire, I’d set it on fire.

I had a manicure, pedicure and eye brow wax. The first service was the pedicure and the employee doing my pedicure was in a big hurry to get my service done as fast as possible. I went to have these services to relax and enjoy myself. At one point I asked the employee could she please be more gentle… it’s hard to be gentle if you are in a big rush. For the best pedicure they offer which is $ 55 it wasn’t worth it at all and I had a special design put on both of my big toes which doesn’t match and its suppose to. The manicure was fine and the eyebrow wax was wonderful. The esthetician that gave me the wax was very kind, took her time and did a great job. I highly recommend the Esthetician. I would love to go back and have a facial by her.

I’ve had half a dozen pedicures at this salon. After what happened yesterday I will never go back. Everything was fine until the pedicurist got some trimmers and began *cutting down into the side of my nail*. It was extremely painful and I let him know so, but by the time it happened it was too late. He’d cut down very deeply, removing a side portion of my nail. I am 100% sure there was blood, but I couldn’t bear to look. When he sprayed my toes with some kind of disinfectant(alcohol, I’d guess) it burned like fire. It was painful walking out of the salon and I could tell then there were going to be issues. Now, 24 hours later, it’s very painful and red and I can tell that I’m going to end up with a pretty deeply ingrown toenail from this if I don’t see a doctor. AWFUL experience. I will never give this salon my business again. Aside from that, my best friend who was with me was hassled to use the ATM because her pedicurist wanted to be paid in cash. Even though he had understood her fine whenever we were talking at the pedicure chairs, when he was asking for her to pay he was acting like he didn’t understand when she said she wanted to pay with a credit card. He took the credit card and returned and began asking her to use the ATM to get money to pay. She refused to use the ATM4 times before he finally took the card again and ran it. Extremely unprofessional.

I was very unimpressed with this salon. My friend and I arrived together to get manicures, and were promptly seated on opposite sides of the salon. I noticed all the people who checked in after us were seated together. I am also very unimpressed with the shellac manicure I was given. The girl was eating cookies in-between steps. She couldn’t even excuse herself to have a cookie. She did a poor job. My nails look fine from afar, but up-close look a mess. The massage part of the manicure was lack luster as well. She stood up and was talking to another employee and the massage was like an after thought. Very quick and rough and she might as well just not have done it. The only reason I came here was because my usual place was soooo busy. When you pay $ 30+ for a service, it should be a little better than what they offer here. I learned my lesson-next time ill just wait at my usual place. I will never go back to LA Nails.
