Businesses come and go on Campus Corner, but Shoetopia has hung on, and for good reason. It’s a quaint shop with a nice selection of reasonably priced, cute and quality shoes. They are always stocked with some good basics as well as the latest trends. They usually have stuff on sale, so keep your eyes peeled. I am still wearing a pair of black leather Steve Madden boots I got here years ago. Those things still haven’y gone out of style. Like I said, they definitely have the basics. I’ve had distracted college staffers wait on me now and then, but most of the time service is great. Shoetopia is one of my go-tos whether I am in the neighborhood or hunting for that something new. If you haven’t had the pleasure, make sure to stop in. You just might find your own something new.

I randomly drop by here a few times a year and typically walk out with 1 – 2 pairs of shoes. I’m not even a shoe person. I wear the same ones until they display multiple holes. The prices are actually decent, the sales are even better. The style of shoes are casual, middle quality brands. This is my favorite place to find flats and sandals, but never had much luck with boots. The store is really tiny. For those that love a small selection(me!) — this is a great place for that.

I love the shoes at Shoetopia. If I were rating them only for their shoes, I would give them five stars. They have really cute things that a lot of other stores don’t carry, and their prices are reasonable, too. The reason I give them three stars is because of the people who work there. Most of the time, they just sit at the register staring out the window. More often than not, they have been very short with me when I have asked for help. The last time I went in, an older lady was working there, and I overheard one of the other customers saying that she was an owner(or maybe THE owner). This owner lady asked me if I needed anything, but strangely… as she was asking me, she was also walking past me. Not a big deal. But I did need to try on a pair of shoes, so I asked her for my size. She brought the shoes to me, but after that, I was nonexistent to her. She was bantering with the other customers and helping them, but would always just walk by me like I was invisible. This place is mostly frequented by sorority girls(I can tell by their Greek letters). From my many past experiences, I have noticed that when I’m in there, the workers sit at the register on their phones or staring out the window. Then, when a sorority girl comes in, they get off their stools and tend to everything that this girl has to say. It’s kind of strange. It’s not like I go in there looking like I’m not going to buy anything.(you know what I’m talking about. there’s a thing about workers at an apparel store giving preferential treatment to rich-looking people) I simply go there to find cute shoes that I can’t find anywhere else. Not for their service.
