The first time my wife and I went to the Cube, as a spur of the moment deal(we were going for dinner, but decided that we could get some ‘to go’ food and go to the park and have a semi-picnic) we were pleasantly surprised about the food. I got the Turkey BLT wrap, and my wife got the grilled cheese sandwich, and we went to the park and enjoyed our meal and the beautiful, mild, and calm spring evening. Since we thoroughly enjoyed our experience the first time, we decided to take our son with us recently and hit up the Cube, and go «picnic» before going bowling. We got to the Cube, got some menus, and ordered. Since I enjoyed the Turkey BLT wrap the last time, I ordered it again. My wife decided in the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and my son ordered the«Cube Chicken Sandwich». We get our food, go to the park, and begin eating. My turkey BLT wrap was delicious once again, but I noticed that my son was having difficulties taking a bite out of his sandwich. I thought it was because he recently got braces, but he put down the sandwich and said«I can’t eat this». I looked at him and asked«Are your braces bothering you that much?», to which he said«No, I literally can’t eat this». At the same time, my wife commented that her Philly Cheesesteak was rather bland, and that it didn’t have bell peppers on it, and asked my son why he couldn’t eat his sandwich. He handed it to her and said«Try it», which she attempted to do, before putting down the sandwich and blurting«I can’t eat this either». I was perplexed, and asked«What’s wrong with it, it’s just chicken», to which she said, as she slid the sandwich over to me, «You try it», which I did. As I tried to take a bite of the sandwich, the first thought that crossed my mind was«I think the employees at the Cube must have mistakenly given us the display Cube Chicken Sandwich; like the fake apples, oranges and bananas some folks have as decorations in their homes, because I could NOT bite through the supposed«chicken breast». It felt like literally biting a piece of wood, but it was even harder. I dropped the sandwich on the picnic table and exclaimed«This is NOT chicken, it must be the display sandwich!!!». Needless to say, our picnic was cut short, and we went bowling(luckily the bowling alley has burgers, or my son would’ve starved). Moral of the story? The Turkey BLT and grilled cheese sandwiches are decent, and a good value for the money. STAYAWAY from the chicken sandwich, it’s absolutely TERRIBLE; well, perhaps a Beaver would really have enjoyed it. Unless absolutely desperate, we will NOT be returning there.

Interesting concept, but transphobia makes everything taste bitter. On a unisex bathroom, why post something against trans people? We should all be reminded that this isn’t about bathrooms, this is about bigotry, and hatred is unacceptable.

I love the cube. I always get the sooner special and the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich is amazing. The biscuit is always so fresh and buttery. The service is always great.

Really interesting concept. I asked and this is the only one in existence right now and has been open around 16 months. Just like going to A fast food window i stopped at the menu and looked it over and then. Pulled forward to actually order and asked for a Naked juice. They did actually have what I wanted and the transaction was done. It’s good for those times you just want to run into a corner store and don’t need fuel.

Not open at 7:30 am. So have driven by many times and wondered how this works. Well, apparently it doesn’t. Got up and drive over this Morning(Sat) to give it a try. No one there, no signs to say hours of operation and according to Unilocal they open at 6:00. No they don’t or not at least today. Won’t be going back.

I’ve only been here a few times, but each time I’ve been I have been highly impressed. Trip 1.) Breakfast. I’d heard people raving about the excellent food they have at The Cube. Okay, seriously? It’s a freaking convenience store. That’s like saying the hot dogs at a gas station are the best you’ve ever had.(Don’t you dare.) So I figure, hey, why not. I ordered the breakfast steak and egg burrito. WOW. I half expected Hot Pocket style Philly cheese beef shreds… not fajita style steak! Major brownie points. Even more brownie points for being able to get it out to me in a timely manner. Okay, so I’m hooked. Trip 2.) Lactose-free milk. Injured leg + being exhausted but reaaallllyyyy wanting a bowl of cereal when I get home but there’s no milk… obvious answer? The Cube! I had my fingers crossed that they had Lactaid or some other kind of lactose-free milk I could purchase. I wish they had Lactaid, but I settled for almond/soy milk instead. I can deal. It’s good for me anyways, right? Trip 3.) Water and juice for my grands. I needed some water and juice to keep the kids hydrated but I was too far away from On Cue to drive through, and there was no way on this green earth that I was going to take a 2 and 3 year old by myself into a gas station. Solution: The Cube! I drove through and pulled into line.(Side tangent-the manager had run food to a customer in the parking lot and smiled and waved at me as I pulled around the back of the building. Seems small, but customer service is important!) Once I got to the window, I asked if they had apple juice. They were out of the screw on cap but they had the kid-proof apple juice. Score! The girl even offered to open the wrapper on it for me. When I have the kids with me I tend to notice the little things that make up the bigger picture of local businesses. Manager smiling and waving. The offer to help someone, no matter how minute(every little piece of help is greatly appreciated when you’ve got two little tykes on your heels!), and quick and friendly service. Those things combined. That is why The Cube has my business. P. S.: The LED sign is way, way helpful. That way we actually know what they have! Keep a look out for it.

Stopped in as the test subject for our office. No one had made the trek, so I gallantly took one for the team. Boy, did they miss out! I went for breakfast and got the coffee(yum!) and the breakfast sandwich(double yum). It isn’t on my way to anywhere, so going there often would be out for me, but if you are heading that way, GO. The staff are great and they were patient with all my questions. I could see what all they DID offer for other stuff, and so easy to use. Glad I went and will go back!

How do you work at a place and not know if you have bottled tea??? Even with the lack of knowledge of the place she is working at. The customer service was fast and friendly. At least they had fresh made tea and the sweet tea is good.

I was incredibly surprised with my(fast and convenient) experience at the Cube. First of all, I didn’t know they had food. Like, real food, not gas station food. I figured it was just a drive through convenience store. I had seen the signs that touted«Best Breakfast in Norman» and the like, but I figured it was just microwave type fare. I was incredibly wrong. First, I read an article online and discovered they don’t have a microwave or deep fryer in the joint. Fantastic. Second, the menu is varied. You order from a real person after driving up to a men that includes a biscuit sandwich, bagel sandwich, breakfast pizza, French toast sandwich, and other breakfast items. On my first(of many future) visit, I went with the French toast sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. It’s $ 4. Like I said, you order from a real person, then pull up to another window where you are given your food. I got an ice water with my sandwich, and that came out first, in a huge cup. I appreciated this, usually when you order water at places you get slightly more than a shot glass’s worth of water. The sandwich was fantastic. It comes with a side of warm syrup, so I would not recommend eating this in the car. When I got to the office the sandwich was still hot. Not warm, hot. It is a very good size, quite filling. And, it smelled so good I took a bite before taking a picture, thus, no picture with this review. The sausage patty was juicy all the way through with no dried out or crusty ends. The egg was scrambled well. There is cheese on both sides of the sandwich, and it’s cheddar that actually tastes like cheddar. This is a great sandwich for $ 5, a very good sandwich for $ 6, but a steal for $ 4. This is about what you’d pay at a fast food chain type place for a sandwich, but it’s larger, made with better ingredients, and made fresh when you order. Even though they prepare your meal when you order, I wasn’t at The Cube longer than 5 minutes. The 2 employees I came in contact with were super friendly. I wish I had known that the food at The Cube isn’t hot dogs on a spinning plate or nachos, I would have come many months earlier. This is a unique place that is a good addition to Main Street. Highly recommended. [Note: 650th Review]

Great food! Great service! Great prices! What more can you ask for. I agree with the 7 other reviewers before me, the food is exceptionally fresh and tasty. I got the Chicken Sandwich and the Waldorf Salad. Their large sodas are huge(I think it’s 44oz.), for only 99 cents. So yummy! I will be back, regularly!

Coffee and pastry better than Starbucks, lunch food better than most sit down restaurants plus able to pick up needful things in a hurry… this is the convenience store for foodies!

The Cube is a convenient stop for a quick bite to eat and to pick up some grocery items. Some of their food items include hot and ready breakfast sandwiches and pizzas to sandwiches and salads. This place will ROCK for moms and dads with little ones who simply want to pick up groceries or a bite to eat and avoid lugging a heavy car seat with child into the store… drive through groceries including diapers!!! The girl working here let me know that they will be coming out with an app soon to pre-order groceries and later they will even start to deliver! I tried their biscuit egg and cheese this morning $ 2.50. The cheese was a nice sharp cheddar, not the typical processed style, and the egg was light and fluffy. The biscuit was a great texture because it held together well and didn’t crumble apart as I ate while driving. It needed a bit more flavor though so I would recommend adding the bacon or sausage, or maybe extra cheese. The service was fast and friendly and it was a bit cool knowing I could have easily grabbed some grocery items if I needed it. Overall, I love the convenience of this place. I will come back and next time I will try that delicious looking salad they have and I will update later!

Pizza, amazingly crispy, fresh real ingredients and spices were perfect. The cinammon roll tastes just like you wish every cinnamon roll you’ve ever made, tasted! The turkey bacon wrap is also amazing and Ive gone back at least 3 times for it. Also helps that the staff is nice and food is always ready quickly. Plus its all drive in, how can you lose not even having to get out of your car?!

Astonishingly good food & friendly service I was curious about the mysterious Cube and had heard the food was good, so we tried it tonight on the way home. The menu was interesting — think café/bistro food. There are not menus posted, so check it out online before you show up so you have time to figure out what you want. Service was very friendly. From payment to driving away was about 6 – 7 minutes, and we ordered a pizza. I imagine if you ordered anything other than a pizza you’d be out of there much more quickly. DAILYGREENS($ 3 — I’d call it a large side salad): The daily greens were fantastic — beats the socks off any other salad I’ve had handed to me through a to-go window. It had some sort of roasted(?) or otherwise deliciously prepared carrots that were both crunchy and tender… I would eat a bowl of those! And the greens themselves were a nice variety and all very fresh. ANDTHECROUTONS. I don’t really know how to describe what they tasted like, but it was really good. They looked burned, but tasted gourmet. I will be back multiple times a week just to grab some greens … I couldn’t make it this good at home for $ 3, not to mention the trouble. Note: they didn’t offer dressing by default with the daily greens — not sure if it was an oversight or if you have to ask. BBQCHICKENPIZZA($ 12 — about the size of a medium pizza from most places — 12″): Crispy thin crust with a good flavor. Plenty of sauce and cheese — maybe a little much for me, which is not something I’d normally say. The chicken chunks were large and REAL — not some freaky manipulated chicken. Overall it was good and had the exact flavor I wanted from a chicken BBQ pizza, but not mind-blowing. The chicken was really tasty, so I’ll definitely try some other chicken offerings(sandwiches, etc.) TURKEYBLTWRAP($ 6): I didn’t try this, but it got two thumbs up from my husband, who said he would get it again and«the aioli is really good» PRICE/VALUE: Since I hadn’t been there before, I was curious paying $ 6 for a wrap and $ 12 for a pizza at a drive through. After seeing and tasting it, I felt like it was WELL worth the cost. I could easily spend less at the chain fast food places, but the food quality was in a completely different realm from typical fast food. CONS: * no online/smartphone ordering yet(they said it is coming soon) * they’re still new(for instance, they didn’t ask if I wanted flatware, which would suck if I had ordered something I was going to eat in the car) HOWITWORKS: I think they need a clearer explanation on their site, because I didn’t really know what to do, but it is simple: you just drive up to any open window and they take your order and hand it to you right there. The staff is very friendly and professional. If this place had an iOS app and Apple Pay, it would be almost magical. I think this place may be a glimpse of the slightly-too-convenient future! PS — We also picked up a half gallon of milk and some snacks. The convenience store items seemed very regularly priced.

This is my favorite place in Norman for a quick bite. I am avoiding the carbs and so a Philly cheesesteak and egg bowl(is their breakfast burrito minus the tortilla) and a sugar-free caramel breve latte is how I like to start my mornings. At lunch I’m a fan if the Waldorf salad, minus the tasty croutons of course. My friends rave about the pizza but sadly that is not on my diet. If there is someplace in Norman putting out a better to-go salad I’ve yet to find them.

Obsessed with The Cube! Amazing food and excellent customer service. I was hesitant to try this place when it first opened because I thought it was solely a convenience/grocery store, but it is much more than that. The menu for this place is outstanding. So far I have tried every breakfast and drink item and love it all. If I had to pick favorites, they would be the egg & cheese biscuit with the whole wheat English muffin and the hibiscus raspberry iced tea. The fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious as well! If you haven’t tried this place yet, TRYIT! You will not regret it!
