Thompson Pool & Patio

My family and I have been working with Thompson Pool and Patio for almost six years. I can say, with absolute confidence, from ownership through the entire staff, including their employees that service our pool (including most recently power-​washing our pool deck at no charge!), this is an exceptional company! They consistently deliver very high level service and products, and we couldn’t be happier!

I’ve shopped at Thompson Pool’s location on 24^th and I’ve had them out to my house more than once for maintenance and installation of pool products. The prices for home visits are very reasonable. Additionally, and as important, they are thorough and stand behind their work. When I had a saline system installed in my home, I was given a very thorough tutorial on operating and maintaining the new system.
I shopped around and found Thompson’s prices for opening and closing pools to be mostly commensurate with other companies in central Oklahoma. If you pay a little more for Thompson it’s worth it; their work is that good.
The store is fantastic, it has everything you could want/​need for your pool, plus patio furniture, pool tools, and other stuff for fun outdoor living. Bring a sample of your water in (they provide you a container) and they’ll test it there for free. Based on the results, they’ll tell you what they recommend for your pool. Their system is much more precise than the testing strips you can use at home. My last trip to Thompson, Mike (the owner I believe) was helping me with a new vacuum. He told me he preferred a brand that wasn’t the most expensive, so that’s what I went with. It’s nice having a place you can trust, not just one that wants to sell you the most expensive product every time.
I will continue to shop at Thompson for my chemicals and to use them for service calls. Very highly recommended.

Very friendly, great customer service. Things seem to be a bit overpriced but you can get all of your pool chemicals, get your pool water tested, and they also have décor items. I will definitely keep patronizing this store.

You won’t find a better pool place in Norman or Oklahoma City. They know their stuff. They never try to sell you extra things you don’t need. I totally recommend it. I’ve been going there for 7 years. They never let me down.
