A friend took me to TRIBES when she went there to buy a calendar. When I saw they had authentic Indian jewelry I was thrilled — their pieces have REAL TURQUOISE stones and their silver pieces are signed ! Love the place ! When I was there today shopping, 3 artists were in the store just chatting with Leslie, the owner. Wow !

NOT WORTH A STOP. We were driving back to Dallas and thought this would be a great shop to get any last minute gifts. The place was not open when Unilocal states their hours that they are supposed to be and there were no hours listed on the door. Nobody answered their phone to confirm their hours and their website didn’t work.

Norman, OK
Tribes 131 is an astonishing art gallery specializing in Native American art. There is also jewelry, novelties and sculptures inside the walls of this quaint establishment. When you walk in there is usually elegant music coming from the speakers, a nice aroma wafting through the air and a beautiful-​kind woman who welcomes you to the establishment and then allows you to peacefully browse but is readily available to answer any questions you may have. I enjoy going inside to look around any chance I get.
