Been a customer since 2011 and will no longer ! First of all if you order you expect it to be delivered if you ask for delivery. . Second time what did I expect? Better service Ave the food is good even it shows up. Don’t lie and say it’s on its way and then say I’m sorry it got dropped! I do recommend Nona Rosa because they have great food, awesome service and show up!

Very good late night and great beer specials… this is my little place to go when I’m tight on cash flow

I order a cheesesteak and gravy fries. The cheese steak was great, but the gravy fries fries where nasty, soggy and bland. They charged a dollar for a cup of peppers when I got a large steak for the family and not everybody eats peppers. I called the store for a refund and was told by a manager that I had to call back and speak to another manager because he could not do anything for me and to save the fries. I didn’t call them back and I won’t be ordering from there again. My husband picked up my food and he said it looks like the local hang out for druggies and drunks.

The cheesesteak though!!! Juicy, laden with meat, whiz, flavor and the perfect of balance of bread to cheese to meat and onions ratio. When in King of Prussia for 24 hours, go to Guido. The best possibly first Philly cheesesteak experience we could’ve had. Upon recommendation of our hotel desk guy and our taxi driver, who both said that this place has the best cheesesteak around, we went there in a town car(!) which was the only transport option we had ’round here from our hotel by the mall. This place gets hoppin at night, and a staple for the neighborhood, which is working class. So the other snobby Unilocal reviewer who calls this a «popular place for blacks» need to check their racist judgments at the door and recognize this gem for what is is: a local institution with a solid product. Which is more busy at night, which makes sense since that’s when the neighborhood locals come home from work. It’s a spot people grab something to eat on the way home from work. The entire we were there, there were always customers cycling through for their orders. Ayana, the lovely woman at the register, held it down and knew everyone who walked through the door by first name basis. She could not have possibly been any sweeter. It is a hole in the wall local joint. If you are expecting gold and marble you’ve come the wrong place. Why in the world would you want a cheesesteak from a fancy place anyway?! This is a real and as good as it gets. The mountainous piles of pizza boxes, and the hilarious locals who gave us our own personalized impromptu standup comedy show was awesome. After we scarfed down our sandwiches we could not stop laughing when talking to the incredibly friendly neighbors. Left with a lovely first impression of Philly and satisfaction of a cheesesteak that woulda made Will from Fresh Prince proud. Highly recommend it.

look… here’s the situation… you are in Norristown, you are hungry and you are a bit on the brokey side. Dont worry, my friend… Papa Guidos got you covered! Since Main Street Pizza left town(they could make more money in KOP), as far as im concerned Papa Guidos is your best bet for hoagies, steaks and sammiches on the west end, however… there is a process to this. and like Mordor, you cant just simply walk up in and order… why? cause well… the«core clientele» is there only for the beer and whatever else while they are biding their time waiting for Sauron’s orders… geek references aside you’ll get the clue about the vibe around the place by the signs warning against loitering, cursing, panhandling and fighting around the premises. Okay, now stick with me here — cause the food ISGOOD, its just not worth waiting around for cause no one likes walking into a potential«ghetto moment». trust me, from personal experience it is time wasted. So the easiest thing is to make a delivery order, and tip the guy when he gets there. cause he now knows where you live… but again the food’s good. however, if you should need to make a pick up order… remember this simple strategy, Call Up, Pick Up, and Peace Out… they take cash only and they have a ATM, i would say its safer to pick up cash from the APlus Sunoco atm across the street if you need to, it kills time so that again you dont have to wait too long. So you have cash in hand, you are heading inside… make sure to avoid the so-called eat-in area… its a trap… you dont EAT at the place… the only people hanging out in there. well you probably dont want any parts of them… and the bathroom… hold it till you get home bro… just dont argue with me, do it. To be sure, apart from standard beverages .you can get the finest fortifed and malt liquor brews… a vast selection from Four Loco, to OE800, and ample choices should you opt to buy the farm… Boone’s Farm. however they also have some better not-drinking-your-life-away selections like Sam Adams and Angry Orchard. but you say, «i cant afford real beer right now». oh but wait. they can sell you loosie bottles out the six pack for about $ 2 a pop… cause they know not everyone has it like that… like i said. Papa’s GOTYOUBRUH! oh yeah of course they have pizza but i prefer their sandwiches and steaks, i would advise Via Venetios but that is a road trip(they dont deliver). your mileage may vary, pizza is as pizza does for me and frankly i can do well with a slab of Ellio’s on a good night… but again its all about doing YOU, boo boo! so again… Papa Guidos… come for the food but leave before you get shanked!
