Pell Tree Company

We were considering buying a home that would have required significant tree removal. So we called Pell’s and John visited the property not once, but three times to give an informed and comprehensive quote. He even visited the property once on his own in a rain storm to see how that might effect the tree work.
We bought the house and, about a week later, Pell’s crew was on the scene working efficiently. They worked for four days and did an amazing job! They took a forest and made it into a back yard. When it came time to have dirt brought in, grading, and seeding, Pell’s again took the lead and exceeded our expectations. This was a huge job and required a lot of coordination, and we couldn’t be happier that we went with Pell’s.
We now have a beautiful manicured lawn, and we have had Pell’s back on the property to prune other trees because we were so happy with their work.
John is courteous and professional, and his staff are friendly and helpful. And, I might add, the work came in under budget! Hire Pell’s, you won’t be disappointed.

Had the Pell Tree company remove a couple trees from the back yard to open things up and they did a great job. Three guys were on the sight. They worked quickly and carefully. The price was great! Very professional and very good experience! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to find someone. You’ll be VERY happy you did.

This was the second time that I have used Pell’s for tree work.
I do not have any experience with their landscaping services.
John called and came out to spec out the job very shortly after I had contacted the company.
I had gotten 3 other quotes, before I remembered I had used Pell’s years ago and decided to take the time to get this 4^th quote.
John arrived on time and is very personable. By the time I got to this 4^th quote I knew just what I wanted done, so was able to compare apples to apples.
His pricing came in almost exactly the same as one other quote, and since I’ve used this company before I decided to let them do the work.
Since I have a very capable husband I do not often need others to do work for us. I am very anal about my trees also.
I stood outside with the men doing the work and not only observed how it was done, but was able to see the machinery, the process and was able to give them a few nudges when I wanted more taken off the trees.
They were very capable and wanted me to be happy with the results.
They arrived at 7:30 and left at 2PM. They have about an hour off for lunch. And believe me, they earned it.
Pell’s uses heavy machinery to do a lot of the lifting of the down limbs. Two of the men who came were the primary cutters… and 5 of the other men were the cleaner uppers. Even with the heavy duty machine the amount of clean up was considerable.
They worked hard, and I am very pleased with the results.
I would recommend them. I would also suggest that you be present when tree work is being done on your property.
