I am a personal shopper who frequents different T.J. Maxx locations on a regular basis. Today before I visited a client, I went to the North Andover store to pick up a few last minute pieces. The selection was great, the women who rung me up was friendly and welcoming, I really thought that I would be shopping this TJ’s more often. Fast forward a couple of hours. After I leave my clients house I decided to return the 5 pieces that she decided against(one being because the zipper wouldn’t go up). When it was my turn the associate saw my bag and rolled her eyes at me. «Another return»? Iris says. I tried to explain that I was a personal shopper and that my client had kept a bunch of pieces, but she ignored me. First of all, I shouldn’t feel that I need to defend myself. TJ Maxx has a return policy for a reason. Second, that’s just down right rude and uncalled for. The«Manager» that had to come sign the return wasn’t any friendlier. This was extremely disappointing. After telling my client about the selection of this TJ Maxx, I will be sure to let her know how I was treated.

The mens Section stinks and you have to call someone to open the Mens Dressing Room Door which is a pain and it could be a lot more cleaner

This is a pretty solid but uninspiring TJ Maxx. The stock fluctuates between being sparse and having the racks bursting! It seems to take longer for things to wind up in the clearance section. The home goods selection here is a bit lackluster compared to other locations… and the dressing room is pretty squishy and dirty. I suppose I’m a bit biased because not too far away in Lawrence is a Marshalls, and they seem to have more stock and lower prices/more clearance items(the only downside being that it’s not in as nice a plaza as this one in North Andover). There’s nothing outstandingly bad about this location, but there’s nothing outstandingly *good* either.
