Schuyler Bagel Deli

So I probably come here at least 1 x a week and just realized I have never posted a review. Schuyler bagel is great for breakfast and lunch and a lot of pride goes into their food and establishment. With a mostly open kitchen you can see how clean everything is kept and the owners are always there running around. I’ve yet to have something I didn’t like from egg and cheese on a bagel to home made pulled pork for a Cuban sandwich. Their bagels are great; they’re the soft kind and they literally make as much as they can In house. For example like mentioned they season and roast their own pork, their own turkey for sandwiches, and all their salads to name a few. Their portion sizes are always great and I promise you their prices are lower then everyone around .

I’ve gone here several times, about 10 – 15. I have to say it has great bagels, but I’ve never received great consistence service. Actually, its this one lady, I don’t she likes working there or cares about customers needs. One time I actually went there, and I swear I thought I had an invisible cape on and no one could see me. Mind you, it was mid day and it wasn’t even busy. I guess if you go once a week on weekend mornings, they might cater to your needs, but any other time, they don’t care. Except this one guy, he is young hard working guy, he is good. I don’t mean to include him in this. Everyone barely make an effort, its almost like they are afraid to take your order god forbid they might have to do a little bit of work. But it does have good bagels, if you don’t care for service then it might be a good place for you, but there are better places in the area that have great bagels and excellent customer service. «One everything bagel with egg and cheese please», Hello, anyone… Hellooo…” I guess I better take my invisible cape off.

This place has great bagels!!! You can tell they are made fresh that day. I especially love the Sesame, Taylor Ham, and cheese sandwich. My wife loves the Jalapeño cream cheese. The place is clean and I like that they wear gloves. This place has great value over the fast food places. You get real food at a decent cost. What more can you ask for?!
I will admit getting into to the place is a little tricky — you have to enter through RetroFitness entrance but it’s well worth it. I’m a regular customer.

Not much to say. One of the best onion bagels I have ever had. Toasted with butter. Great coffee. Friendly service.

Love this place, Taylor ham and cheese on a sesame bagel has near perfect amount of meat/​cheese to the bagel! Also like the amount of butter they put on a buttered bagel, coffee and prices good. I think this is the best bagel shop in the area! Nice cold cuts and pastries.

Really good bagel place. Super friendly staff and owner. Bagels are really good. Hot food is made with care. Taylor ham egg and cheese really good. Western omelette was probably the best I’ve ever had.

Same owner as the place on ridge rd in lyndhurst, opening a second bagel place around here should be all u need to know.

I have been going here since it opened– never any problems with service, staff, or the food! They have so much of a variety and it is quality food and perfect for on the run breakfast or lunch. They make a delicious sub, have awesome fresh bagels, and I sometimes get my deli meat here as well, would recommend! The owner is also so nice– has thrown me extra bagels, snacks, etc from time to time! Def give this place a try!

Newly opened and may be officially called Schuyler Bagel Deli Grill Café. Obviously the servers will need a little more training. When you walk in, don’t expect to be greeted, They’re all business, and though there was 1 person ahead of us, the servers would just look at us and continue working as if we weren’t there, We ended up going to one of the other Bagel places in the area, where they automatically ask «we’ll get to you in a minute» when they’re busy or «is someone serving you already?» or «did you order?»… but if you want silence and awkwardness, you now know where to go. I recommend going here in another 6 months to see if the servers finally get trained on how to greet customers. Its right next to the Maximum Performance Physical Therapy office.
