Babies R Us

The customer service is ABOVE all else at this location. People actually remember you and help you without you having to ask. There’s an amazing selection of items in this huge store. PLUS, they’ll price match anything sold cheaper elsewhere, no questions asked! I can’t say enough about the people here. I haven’t met one person who wasn’t completely professional and willing to help. They are eons ahead of all other locations I’ve ever visited.

Customer service, like they have at this store, is so rare these days. All the employees greet you, and ask if you’d like help. They are also, according to their name tags, parents too! This is important as an expectant mom since all of this baby gear seems to change quite often, and it’s nice to hear their opinion or personal experience on particular items. I personally wanted to ensure I had the best for my baby. Especially when trying to choose a car seat, bottle type, breast pump, crib, they will help you find something in your budget, and that you’ll be happy with.
The only downfall to this particular store, is that they do NOT accept competitors coupons. They will, however, price match an item from the internet… so do your research before going in. If you do have a coupon, such as «Buy Buy Baby», you’re better of going to the Braintree location. It is only honored here since they are so close geographically and direct competitors.

I ordered some baby registry items online and chose to pick them up at this store to save on shipping. I got my items quick when I went there. Super simple.

Eh. Only go there to purchase baby registry items… why do they have Aisle numbers on the registry, but not on all the actual aisles???

The baby mega store. I find this Babies R’ Us to be the better of the two BRU’s within an hour of my home. The staff seem to be more knowledgeable and friendly. The store is kept orderly and neat. We’ve scored some amazing deals at this location as often times they will have additional percentages off of clearance items.
The staff will take car seats and bases out to your car to ensure they fit properly before you decide on one.
Get the rewards card and sign up for the coupons as Babies R’ Us. Skip the lay away option its complicated.

This is by far the Babies R Us in the RI/​MA area. We’ve shopped here several times and the customer service can not be beat, employees are always willing to help. Recommend you shop here during the week if possible, weekend shopping here is pure chaos!

This is going to be our first baby, so I am a bit overwhelmed with everything.
When registering they hand you a bunch of booklets, a check list of supplies, and a scanner and send you on your merry way.
Try not to follow the list too closely, you’ll wind up with a million things that you don’t need and a bunch you missed that you would need.
Staff is constantly sticking their heads out and asking if they can help you.
Stick to the parameter of the store, the inside (like the clothing) can be hard to find off the registry list.
Personally I like the Warwick store better but really you could buy everything you need online and have it shipped to the store for free, and never have to deal with «other shoppers» :)

It’s quite large for a Babies R Us, but despite the website saying they had 2 pieces of furniture we were looking for in stock, they did not. Next time I will definitely call ahead before trekking in.
The sales associates were, however, quite helpful in the whole process of ordering/​picking up furniture. One piece we wanted was in stock & the other we had ordered & it will ship to another store. We were able to pay for both items with coupons in separate transactions & they happily carted our crib out to the car for us.

I have terrible experiences every time I go to this store. In the future I am going to give my business to companies that have better customer service. Though they have a great selection, I find their products are often overpriced when compared to competitors. The coupons have a ton of exclusions, can’t be used on sale items, can only be used for one item, and can’t be used on toys (or so I was told). I rarely see much that I am looking for on sale, and when they do have sales they generally are not very impressive.
I purchased a car seat that should have come with a free umbrella stroller if I spent $ 150. It came to 149.99 and they would not give me the umbrella stroller, I thought that was pretty lame. The price marked on the label where you pick them up showed $ 150, so I didn’t realize the issue until I got to the counter. A manager didn’t even have discretion to override this. For one penny they couldn’t try and keep a customer happy. I have found the managers rude at this store on several occasions. Their return policy is terrible and they can be very difficult when you try to return things.
I purchased a changing mat at this store and it damaged a brand new bureau! The plastic from the changing mat literally melted onto the top of my brand new expensive bureau and damaged the finish. I never in a million years imagined something like this could happen. I am pretty sure the brand was a babies R’ us store brand changing mat too. When I checked reviews for the product after the fact (who would think to check reviews prior to buying a changing mat?)… I noticed others had the same issue, but of course the product remained on the market.

I can find everything that I am looking for and the prices are not that bad either. They also have something now called the «Toys R Us Express» which means they carry toys from Toys R Us and I dont have to go across the street. One stop shopping is GOOD!
The staff is nice and friendly. The only thing I hate about the store is the burn the retina of your eye lights that they use. Try some low watt bulbs… save some energy and me from going blind.

The store is very easy to get to and next to the mall. They have all thing you would need for your baby, but the most important thing is they have the nicest staff. People would try to help you find the right stuff you need and they will go to check if the store don’t have it. I got all things I would need from this place for my girl
