My husband and I traveled about an hour to do business with them — we were there almost 3 hours — and left with no deal. Our salesman was great and attentive — the finance department was annoying! The conversation started with «oh you (us) still have at least another 100,000 left on your car. The conversation pretty much ended when I was told the most I would get for my Toyota was 500.00! We knew what we wanted for a payment and we did our research on what we wanted! The finance manager for the night came out shook our hands and told us we had his word but they could not do what we wanted — he was very apologetic — we said ok thanks have a great night — we didn’t have too get a new car we wanted a new car. We left and thought wow we spent a lot of time there but they seemed pretty good to do business with. Well we quickly got annoyed the next day when Edy called and essentially said they had good news and were able to get payment close actually very close to what we wanted. Wait what — we spent all that time there and you couldn’t — now you want us to travel back there??? NOPE! We purchased a new vehicle less mileage for exactly what we wanted for payment AND got close to four times more for my trade in!!! Then approximately 2 days later a woman called to confirm out appointment. With Edy to sign papers for the vehicle !! Well I told her umm no we have no appointment and will not be going back. We told her our frustration and the amount of time we spent up there. Oh well Boch must be doing well and not needing my money! (FYI I was told by new dealer the banks were closed when we were at Boch and that is why they couldn’t give us an exact payment amount — they were guestimating! All Boch had to do was tell me that — we would have waited until the morning for negotiating!

My wife brought her 2015 sienna (bought there) with less than 10k miles in to have a check engine light fixed, an oil change and an inspection sticker. The advisor Robert told her she needed to pay $ 159 to have the parking brake shoes adjusted because she hit a pothole and warranty would not cover it. He became defensive when I called to challenge this and told him that i was a service advisor at a local GM dealership and that this seemed like b.s. Long story short, he called back saying they would cover it but of course the receipt we got mentioned nothing about adjusting the shoes. Common sense says it’s because it never needed it anyway and obviously wasn’t done. His attitude sucked and he left my wife hanging with no update when he said it would be done around 5. She called at 6 and was told Robert already left and they would have it done by 8 which they did. Overall, poor service all around.

If I had read these reviews I may not have given them a chance. It is obvious from their responses to reviews that Boch Toyota South has taken the criticism seriously, and is working hard to improve. We had a positive experience purchasing our car from them. There is a lot to buying a car, and we felt the process went rather smoothly.

My spouse and I have now bought two vehicles from Boch. We worked with Mike Benjamin both times. Years ago, we actually walked out of the finance process because of poor service. Having moved to the Attleboro area, we began using the service department at Boch, and they gradually earned our trust back, so we decided to try the sales process again. It was smooth, and the two people who work in finance now are terrific! We had a great experience both times, and even were able to negotiate a deal with the second vehicle due to advertised pricing we received via email – saved a couple thousand off the quoted price, which was awesome. The sales process in its entirety took less than two hours. That included us deciding on a vehicle.

Ed S. In customer service is the rudest person that I have ever dealt with on the phone. He is supposed to be a manager? He’s verbally abusive. Its too bad bad for the Bochs because they lost business because of his arrogance .All I have to say is good luck to anybody that has to be treated badly by him!

Overall I got what I expected with my first dealership car buying experience, they lie to your face and try to get as much money out of you as possible. However, my salesmen Jose did a great job, he showed me everything about the car and did an even better job with the delivery. He was very organized and well mannered. On the other hand, the gm had told my dad and I that the finance would only be 2.9%, we told them we wanted to wait a day to assure we knew we wanted the car. The next day we came back and told them we were going to buy the car and everything went smoothly until the finace guy said we were all set and he showed us the final paperwork and the finance was now 6.29%. The gm came in to talk to us and basically said he never said that. We had then walked out and later that night I got a call and they said they’d do it for the 2.9% financing. So overall I got what i anticipated. I love my Camry by the way.

Greg Shepard did a great job. I new the car I wanted. He didn’t pressure me and that’s why I bought the car. I have brain injury? I made it clear and its a challenge day to day. I had put money a side for the last 7 or 8 years a bit at a time so I could get the car I would be needing and not have a bill each month over my head. So wee did our negotiations and came up with a trade in for my old car but had to use a different person for that. I looked up the car I had on Nada and found I could buy the car I was trading in for around $ 4000 and trade in about $ 2200. But we settle on $ 1100 but I don’t have the stamina to sell it my self. That was low.
I was told I had to finance the car to buy it but I wanted to pay off that day but was told no I could not. So I went to finance dept. and told I had to choose one of 4 options. I was told I had to. It was so quick and my brain did understand and no consideration for brain injury and added thousands of extras on which most a manager help get off later. But all my brain saw was sign hear initial their to do the loan.
There is a signature pad with no totals also. So at the end what looks like 200 and some dollars for the page not 200 and some dollars extra each month.
I still had to pay $ 899.00 for a spray for the car I didn’t need and not documented on the sheet because it was done.
There was the dealer manager was great to. He helped us after going back and the finance guy smirking at me not fixing anything.
The manager said I could have use a Bank check to pay that day but the loan was done.
Greg was great but the finance was dangerous to my health. I had to drive down three time and my stamina is shattered.
I just wanted to do the trade in and pay for the car and drive it home that day. Not go back and forth again and again. It should have been and easy quick guaranteed sale.
I feel the right thing should be done and a check of the 899 spray cost a check should be written to me to refund that cost.
I called Greg yesterday but he was busy and called today to see if the registration had been send and the cost for the sticker but someone else said I had to come down. Greg was looking out for me but it was done.
All said I like the car. I have my ADA meeting next week and see my disability people. I had to cancel this week to run down.
I made it clear I had a brain injury I believe that’s why they tired me out then rushed me through hours later at finance. It should have been a quick process. Not hours and hours.

I do not like buying a new vehicle, nor do I generally like the staff at dealerships. I despise the entire process. I had gone online to
and built the Tacoma I wanted. I sent the specs to multiple dealerships and asked for the lowest price. Boch was the lowest, hands down. My salesman Mohammed was excellent, spent time with me and showed me all features on the truck and Rob in finance had all my paperwork in order. He showed me different options on additional warranty packages and let me decide which was best for me.

Boch has managed to shock me again. My new car reeked of cigarette smoke after a service, and I’m not a smoker. Clearly the tech took a smoke break and then hopped into/​worked on my car. The floor manager gave us the cost of the service for free, but I’m unlikely to return here for service or sales, ever.

Emailed Boch Toyota South on 01/​29/​2015. Communicated with a David Quaglia in the business development department regarding a used Tacoma. David verified that the truck was in stock and asked if I would be interested in coming in. I replied that I would be coming in and asked whom I should ask for upon arrival. I also said I would need a trade in appraisal on my 2014 Honda CR-​V. David told me that when I arrive that I should check in with the receptionist and she would introduce me to a «truck specialist». Upon arrival I entered the building and went to the reception desk. There was both a young man and woman seated there. The female greeted me and asked how I could be helped. I mentioned that I had already spoken to David Quaglia and that he had arranged for me to see a «truck specialist». She said someone would be with me shortly and asked me to be seated at a small table in front of the reception desk. As I sat in the waiting area the female receptionist attempted to make contact with someone a few cubicles away by holding up her phone in what I guess was a sign for the other person to pick up their phone? When the other person did not respond she said «Yo» in a conversational tone, when that didn’t get results she said «what the f**k «to herself, unfortunately it was more audible than she thought. Another young male employee then arrived at the employee side of the reception desk. I don’t know the persons name so I will describe him. Medium height and build, shiny grey matching suit, dark hair shaved on one side of his head, long hair on top parted to the opposite side. This individual chatted with the female receptionist before rubbing her shoulder and giving her a «fist bump». Eventually my salesperson /​truck specialist arrived and introduced himself as Mohammed. Mohammed also had a young male sales trainee with him. Mohammed invited me to his cubicle and told me the truck I asked about was outside the showroom if I wanted to view it. I mentioned that my first concern was to get a trade in value on my 2014 Honda CR-​V. I gave Mohammed my registration and he left the cubicle to confer with someone. He never asked for my keys or where the car was parked? Mohammed returned after five or so minutes and said condescendingly «base Honda CR-​V, those thing’s don’t hold their value». I mentioned that the CR-​V is pretty much the most popular car in the country according to sales figures. But he disputed that by saying «no the Rav 4 is». I guess Mohammed wanted to show his trainee how it’s done as far as being in control and letting the customer know who’s in charge. At that time I took back my registration and got up to leave. Mohammed said «thank’s for coming in», I said «thank’s for wasting my time». Mohammed never asked if i wanted to speak with a manager, but I asked to speak with one before leaving.
I told him how it was a bad experience from the moment I walked in the door. He said he would take care of it immediately. Just be forewarned that there are a lot of young sales and customer support personnel at this dealership that don’t seem to have a grasp of what it means to have drive or ambition. As I waited in Mohammed’s cubicle I had in my line of sight at least three other cubicles. All of these employees were either slouched in their chairs day dreaming or playing with smart phones. «It is what it is, lesson learned».

I made the mistake of inquiring about one of their pre-​owned (and ridiculously overpriced) vehicles, before reading the online reviews. I am being bombarded by phone calls and emails from one salesperson after the next, even after I «opted out».
BTS, if you’re reading this, please take a hint — when someone doesn’t reply to you, they’re not interested in doing business with you !

Wish I had read the reviews of Boch South before visiting there to buy a used Prius. I am a well-​educated, professional middle-​aged woman who has bought and sold cars several times. But my experience at Boch South last Thursday night literally left me shaking as I drove away.
They had an aggressively-​priced 2012 Prius on their website that I test drove and decided to buy. I had a 2010 Prius that I intended to use as a trade-​in. As the salesman, Tony (very nice guy) and I talked, I gave him the keyfob to my car so Service could evaluate it for trade value. Service came back with a ridiculously low trade-​in value — about 40% to 50% lower than what Kelley Blue Book stated for a car of that age, mileage and condition.
We negotiated for a few minutes and brought the trade-​in value up a bit. We got to a point where we were close to a deal, when the Finance Dept guy became involved. He started pressuring me to finance with Boch. I told them I was committed to financing with my credit union. Why would I finance with Boch at 3% when my credit union offers auto loans at 2% (less for hybrids)?
They urged me to finance with Boch, then refinance with my credit union after a few months. REALLY?
At this point, I asked where my keyfob was, and they sent someone to Service to find it.
The pressure to finance with Boch was intense. I finally told them I was absolutely not interested in financing. I said, «You have a willing buyer in front of you, and you’re telling me you won’t sell me this car unless I finance with Boch?» Yes, that was the deal. They had underpriced the car and used it as bait to sell what they really want to sell — financing.
I asked for my keyfob so I could leave. They couldn’t remember who had the keyfob. COULDN’T REMEMBER!!! I was one of only two customers in there on a Thursday night!
As they looked for the keyfob, the pressure continued to finance with them. They were throwing numbers at me right and left. It dawned on me that they were holding my keyfob to keep me trapped there so they could wear me down.
Again, I asked for the keyfob and told them we would not be able to do business. The keyfob finally appeared, and I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
Two days later, I bought a great 2014 Prius with low mileage at a much smaller dealership. Paid a little more, but it was well worth it NOT to buy from Boch and reward such abysmal business practices.

I’ve purchased 2 vehicles thru Boch and despite the 6 hr process to purchase was happy with their service. When it was time for trade in our truck we went to Boch knowing we wanted the TRD Pro we checked back frequently and they never had one come into inventory and told us one could not be ordered. That went on for a year when the 2016 came out we went back and spoke with Truck Manager Ian. He told us we were shit out of luck (his words exactly) they have access to everyone’s inventory they are largest in region if they can’t get it no one can. He said we should try going down south it’s more likely they can get us one. Feeling defeated we started looking at other manufacturers as we were not interested in any of the other Tundras. I decided to reach out to Colonial Toyota in Smithfield just for the hell of it and without hesitation they were able to find one and secure it before build. We were so skeptical after a year of Boch saying no that didn’t belive we were actually getting it until we picked up yesterday. Boch has officially lost my business for life and Colonial Toyota has a new customer. Don’t go to Boch, go to Colonial is a much smaller dealership less than 20 min from Boch and they will treat you so much better, like they actually care about you and not just another sale.
Don’t believe the BS they feed you at Boch, go somewhere else you won’t regret it.

I am starting to find significant humor in bringing our truck here for service. Brought it in for an oil change as it was convenient, I asked them to check the brakes. Mind you the rotors were replaced by Boch less than 10,000 miles ago and as is typical with the 1 gen Tundra they Are warping already and pulsing.
They call me and tell me I need to replace both rotors, calipers and pads… genuine OEM parts would be $ 2,000+, but they can do it with re manufactured for like $ 1500 – 1600.
I couldn’t stop laughing.
You know who else can install re manufactured calipers? Me Sparky, I can… upgraded rotors to better than OEM warp prone, new calipers, new pads, all new brake lines…$ 400ish + 3 beers. Installed new struts while I was in there. Btw, old calipers were functioning fine… I tested them, but since they are so cheap to replace I installed the new ones.
Of course the reason given that the rotors wouldn’t be replaced under warranty was the malfunctioning calipers «providing uneven contact with the rotors»…when I pushed them to explain «uneven contact» I was then told «they were dragging on the rotor and causing them to heat up»…nope, rotors weren’t hot from dragging… I pushed further, if they are dragging then not only would they be very hot but the truck would pull to one side especially when braking…“well they were dragging evenly”…oh, OK magic equally broken brakes that malfunction evenly on both side at the same time. Got it… lol
While I understand you have considerable overhead, how can you begin to justify $ 1500+ for $ 300 – 400 in parts? Even if labor was charged at $ 100/​hr this is in no way a 10+ hr job and if it is… you need new techs.
Oh and if you read my previous review… they told me again that I needed new spark plugs, this time the price was like $ 249…plugs were replaced by me in the spring. Don’t tell me I need to replace stuff you haven’t even looked at. Just because I hit x miles (208k now btw) don’t assume I am an ATM to just add additional crap services to.

I ordered a part online for a Thermostat for my wife’s Toyota Scion, which is currently out of commission without one. The part was available via Boch’s website, where we placed an order promptly. We received an invoice that our order was processed and the item was being shipped, so we sat back to await delivery. After no further response for THREE WEEKS, we finally contacted the company to request an update on shipment. to our surprise, they claimed the following:
A.) there had been only partial payment sent
B.) the part number we entered was incorrect
C.) they had never shipped the part.
Our response:
A.) we used only a single credit card, so payment should have been made in full or not at all, not a partial payment
B.) the item was located using a google search, and we never actually entered any specific part information, just selected the correct thermostat for purchase
C.) we were informed on our original invoice the item was shipped. We were never informed of any of the above problems, either by phone, email or text, so we would be able to take action to remedy the situation
Needless to say, we cancelled the order and requested a full refund. Had we known that this company would fail to initiate contact with us in any manner regarding a problem with our order, we never would have placed it. If this is how they run their parts department, I shudder to think about those who are making major purchases through them. Definitely would not recommend purchasing or servicing anything from this establishment.

Drove 45 minutes with check in hand to purchase a $ 50,000 new vehicle advertised as in stock on their website. It was very busy and a woman at the desk told me to have a seat and someone would be right with me. 30 minutes later, a second woman asked me if I was being helped and when I said no, she found someone right away. Michael from sales then sat down with me and I learned the in stock vehicle advertised on their website is not available. I checked and it is still listed as in stock. It is unacceptable that a modern company cannot keep their website and inventory up to date. I was very excited to go purchase my truck and this was a huge disappointment. I will not be returning to the Boch group.
Update: I initially gave 1 star. I upgraded to 2 stars because the business manager did call to apologize.

Disgusting sales tactics!
We had an agreement on a price for a Toyota Corolla… and after making a $ 500 deposit, they told me about an additional (hidden) $ 150 fee I had to pay!
I told the Sales Manager that I felt like they snuck this fee in last minute (they did), and the Sales Manager raised his voice, and angrily rambled on about his integrity and he questioned mine!
I immediately demanded my deposit back, which he ignored and I had to interrupt him THREE times before he agreed to refund my money!!!
If you like shady salesmen that try to sneak in extra fees at the last minute, then this is the place for you. If not, then you should probably go elsewhere.

Couldn’t be more unimpressed with the total lack of customer service as I stepped in the dealership today.
I walk in the door and I spot 3 sales guys shooting the shit, 2 other staff member at a main desk again shooting the shit. After 5 mins of standing around waiting for the sales guys to Finnish there very important shit shooting session on man came over and asked what I wanted. «I’m looking to upgrade from my Tacoma to my tundra today!!» The guy walks over to the 3 sales guys asks if anyone is free, they all look at me and turn down my sale.
Well done Boch south you have after your equally bs service department turned me off Toyota for life. You just lost out on a $ 60 000 sale today.

I am writing this review after driving an hour and a half down to Boch Toyota this morning on my only day off. I am infuriated with the lack of service I recieved and it has caused me to not want to deal with any dealership at this point.
I have been researching toyota camrys for over a month now. I know what a good deal is on a camry, my family has driven them for over 20 years, I have two mechanics who are close friends who know the ins and outs of dealerships and even work for dealerships all around massachussettes,. I know how this whole process works. I found the perfect camry, and was ready to make a decision after I test drove it-​I didn’t even try to haggle on the price because i wanted this deal to go as smoothely as possible.
Well, as soon as my sales rep, Micheal found out what I had for a down payment, and that I planned to pay sales tax out of pocket, him and his manager tried pushing me into two cars, newer and with tripple the amount of miles, or $ 4,000 more than my budget.
My sales rep and the manager that kept pushing on me cars I did not want, and that were not good deals, because they knew the would not make a large profit off of the car that I initially wanted to buy. I told them that I wanted to go forward with the car and almost immedietely, they tried to take advantage of me and get me into something I couldnt afford or that wasnt a good deal, by lying to me about what a bank will or will not approve me for. But they honestly just knew they wouldn’t make a profit off of me in the financing because I had such a high down payment and wanted to pay sales tax out of pocket. How BS is that?!
I am infuriated because now after wasting three hours in this dealership, ¾ tank of gas, I also lost the deal I wanted on the car I wanted.
Boch Toyota is not in the business of helping people, they are as swanky, and greedy as it gets. BIG crooks. Not only did they lose a sale today, but I lost out on buying the only car I wanted, at the price I could afford. Dont go to this dealership! There are surely other places who will do whats best for their customers, instead of pushing them into bad deals and cars they cant afford just to make a profit. I can’t even believe this happend, what a serious let down.

Been meaning to write this review for a long time, but hesitated until we were past initial warranty times. It’s ironic, not trusting the business to the point where you don’t want to write a negative review because you think your service is going to be affected… Buying a used car. Not easy for anyone, but Boch Toyota definitely wasn’t an ideal experience for used car buyers. In terms of pros, we were able to find a car in their lot with great selection. They have tons. However they don’t seem to have any customer service. After walking around the lot for about 20 minutes, I finally took a picture of that damned sheet with all the cards, prices, and mileage on it (which was carelessly left by our sales guy on the desk) and essentially found the vehicle ourselves. Thereafter, the car we selected was one that actually had been sold but was still on the lot… But their sheet hadn’t been updated. And when we finally decided on a car that was actually available and not already sold, the entire process thereafter, financing, registration, etc took probably hours more than it should have.
Getting things done with any efficiency was completely absent. The salesperson was this guy named Dave who was so obviously only interested in just packing in future sales. He also made us feel like he was doing us favors when we called for followup around the ass backwards financing stuff, questions about the car and basically anything after we put down our payment.
The place is like any swarmy used car sales experience. They’re into making sales. The car so far has been great but I crossed my fingers for the first while that I wasn’t going to get a lemon. I think j just struck lucky more than anything about the way they take care of the cars they sell. The only benefit of Boch over others is that they have a lot of vehicles on their lot … But if you can just as easily get that from some savvy online shopping, screw the sales experience. They’ve got a nice coffee shop and the front desk staff is attractive, but that’s about all you’re getting beyond just finding a car online. Boch Toyota — you made me lose more hair on my head … Argh.
