First time buying from Lenses Crafters. I was greeted but did not felt being followed by the sales people. Only a few rows of glasses were locked up. Which was nice considering other locations have nearly all the nicer glasses locked up. Not a convince when your trying just about every pair on. But I was helped mostly by Ray. He was patient and was a little chatty but answered all my questions. I found a pair of eye glasses and the lenses were cut in a hour. I was skeptical of this type of place for quality of the lens but I was told the person cutting the lens had over 10 years of experience. I picked transitions in grey they were originally $ 360 but with the 40% off promotion it was not bad. A D and G frame that was $ 179. I also purchased a pair of sunglasses– the second pair being completely 40% off they were a little under $ 230 for the frame and prescription lens. I have no issue going back here. Ray was really nice and gave me some free eye glass cleaner wipes. And a choice of cases for my glasses. I would go on a Thursday or a off day when the store is not busy if you find yourself indecisive like I can be.

I arrived at my appointment for 10:00 a.m. on a thursday. I though they wouldn’t be busy and thought scheduling an appointment at ten ment I’d actually see the eye dr around 10:00 — 10:15. I waited 45 to finally be called into a room and do tests for 15 only to wait in the waiting room another 25 mins. The Dr took me in did my eye exam and I had to have my eyes dilated, so I had to wait another twenty minutes! I finally got called in again and while he was doing the eye exam he seems generally in interested in small talk or what-not. I get it some days were running late and some days were not in the mood for small talk. However this guy not only took me in laye, didn’t make small talk, he also hardly did the exam… it was like he was afraid to touch me I just showered and my hair was still wet but to wipe your hands on your shirt after touching me felt uneasy. I didn’t know if his hand were dirty or my face displeased him… this is not good medical care, I felt uncomfortable after that and just wanted to leave. I work I the medical field and know all about the correct way to touch someone with out them feeling uneasy, or nervous. I’m sorry but he was not very polite when it came to this. I mean why work in this field if you don’t want to touch someone. Over I gave it a 1 because the Medical Assistant was very pleasant. And although I had to hear about the two receptionists diet s and another pts private information(HIPPA violation), the lady who helped me the most was the one standing by the entrance where you pick out glasses. Over all be careful there also they took in pt that didn’t have an appointment while I was waiting… so if you plan ana hour there you’re looking at almost 3.

I didn’t even want to give this place one star but no stars were not an option. The eye doctor and staff are awful. Not only did we wait 40 minutes before my boyfriend was taken in, but then had to wait another 30 minutes for the actual eye doctor to come in. Then they started taking other people in to see the doctor who showed up way after us. When we complained to the receptionist she said ‘I’m sorry, I’ll take you in right now’. But then he’d just be waiting in the room. About 6 people, including my boyfriend, had a apt at 6 and with only one person doing the regular check up, and one actual eye doctor. I have had glasses for the past 22 years and contacts for the last 12 and NEVER have I ever experienced this kind of customer service. One of the other people was getting angry too so the doctor went in to see him before my boyfriend just because she complained. These people don’t know how to run a business, more like ruin it. This will be the last time we EVER come here. My suggestion to you is that unless u have a few hours to waste waiting on incompetent people, then go else where. Trust me

The experience I had at this store was above and beyond all expectations. I had an eye exam at the Optometrist located within the store(this service was very mediocre) and then began shopping for glasses. The staff here was very kind and it was almost like I was shopping with a friend. Tiffany, who is the store manager, assisted me with frame selection. She was absolutely wonderful! She answered all my questions thoroughly and was very honest during the selection process; some might be turned off from this but I thought it was great. Tiffany wants to make sure you like your frames and that they look great on you so if they don’t quite fit your face, she’ll let you know and then suggest others that are similar that would look better. I enjoyed this experience very much and will return again. I have also recommended this location to others. They also have a financing program so you do not have to pay upfront if approved. I picked up my glasses the same day but not within an hour, which is something they offer. I cannot include this one hour service in my review but when I returned a few hours later everything was set to go. LensCrafters collects donations to provide vision exams and glasses to low income families and children in the US and abroad. This is a good cause, consider donating.
