The Preservation Framer

My boyfriend’s grandmother made a blanket and matching table runner as a house warning gift. I decided to get the table runner framed. I walked into the Preservation Framer with no idea what I had in mind. Rob walked me through the process. He really seems to have a talent for this. The piece came out wonderful and seems extremely sturdy. I have no worries about it lasting a lifetime.
I showed grandma this weekend and it BROUGHT HER TO TEARS. #success.

Had some glass in a frame replaced. It was inexpensive and done within a couple of hours. Great customer service in a comfortable atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

The absolute best in every way — customer service and quality work. What a hidden gem in North Attleboro, MA. The minute I walked in I felt such a warm welcome and genuine concern for what I needed. I wanted 10 frames for my husbands collection of sports jerseys and what Preservation Framers made was incredible quality for such a great price. Even with coupons Michaels could not touch that price or more importantly, that quality. Rob, the owner is very involved with the community and has donated consistently to help with fund raisers for the Food Pantry. We would go nowhere else. I recommend them with absolute confidence.

I have been there twice now, and the place is the complete package of things you want a framer to me: knowledgable, artistically forward, reasonably priced, and FRIENDLY. The employees and owner are wonderful. If there was ever a local business worth supporting, this is the place. Well done, guys!

I have been to The Preservation Framer twice now and Mark and Rob have produced extraordinary work each time. For printing (canvas and non), I highly recommend that you come here. The quality is exceptional and the canvas I had done here is two years old, and looks as bright and as vibrant as the day I picked it up.
While the canvas and prints stand on their own, you haven’t seen anything until your items are framed. Simple, elegant, timeless. No garish options here. Best of all, Mark and Rob really value your price point. $ 55 got me a beautifully framed and matted print (roughly 9″ x 11″) that I almost couldn’t bring myself to give away as the gift I intended it to be. (I most likely will be back to have them do the exact same thing over again for me).
It takes two weeks to get a print and another two weeks to frame. Plan accordingly and don’t hesitate to let Mark and Rob know if you have time constraints. They will do all they can to complete the work within your time frame.
Friendly, enthusiastic, creative, knowledgeable, skilled owners. Definitely make The Preservation Framer your custom framing stop. Plus, they are on Groupon.
Parking: Plenty of street parking. The area gets busy in the evening, but you can still find a spot only 0.2 mi away.

I recently brought in some Brazilian embroidery to get framed. It is a very tricky job because the backing is padded and the flowers I stitched were all 3-​dimensional. They asked me to come in and look at it after they got it pinned to see if I liked it, and when I pointed out a few wrinkles, they re pinned it and it is PERFECT. No complaining like some other framers I’ve been to. They just wanted to make me happy. I will DEFINATLY be back!

very pleased with the staff here. they worked hard with me to stay within my budget, and still were able to produce a quality piece. of course, the first configuration i choose were the most expensive options possible!!! i am very pleased with the result, and the experience.

These guys do fantastic work. They’re not a cookie-​cutter frame shop retreading the same tired tropes they use on everything; they’re thinkers and innovators, and they’ll come up with refreshing ideas to make your subject sing. As if that’s not enough, they’re also just incredibly pleasant people to talk to. Working with them is a lovely experience.

Like many of the other reviewers here say; You are really dealing with artful and professional craftsmen who love and care about what they do.

I have to admit, since Preservation Framer is located in my hometown of North Attleboro I am a little biased due to townie pride; however, the 5 stars are well deserved even if they were based in Kalamazoo.
The two head framers, Rob and Matt, are so different that together they make something beautiful. Think of it as peanut butter and fluff– the two apart are at odds but together they make the most amazing sandwich. Every piece I’ve had done and everything I see hanging in the shop have been simply amazing. You can see the precision and the care put into the cheapest of projects to the most elaborate custom framing.
And if being an awesome frame shop wasn’t enough, they hold art galleries/​openings rather regularly (usually with complimentary wine and cheese, yum yum!!) It’s a great way to get immersed into local culture and network with artists and people from all spectrums.

We just love Preservation Framer. We have brought quite a few items to get framed over the past few years, from wedding pictures, to prints for our walls and most recently a quilted sampler for our baby-to-be’s room… we are just waiting for that one to come back now! The quality is always wonderful and Rob always takes the time to work with you to make sure you get what you want, and gives thoughtful artistic input along the way.
We will be using Preservation Framer for all of our framing needs!

I have taken one very special wedding photo and several smaller, equally memorable photos, to the Preservation Framer. Both projects came out fantastic! If you want something that reflects the work you want framed then come here. Both Matt and Rob are artists who do more than just help you color coordinate your photos. They are all about getting into the feel of how the work needs to be presented. I would highly recommend them.
