As a new homeowner, we had an issue come up where our furnace was not lighting. I contacted WH Riley, who immediately contacted me (texted and emailed which made it easier while I was at work) and helped me setup a service appointment. They came at 8am the next morning and had the issue resolved in under an hour. On top of that, I paid nothing on top of my annual service plan. They automatically refill my oil at a competitive price, and almost anything is covered in my service plan. Very happy so far with their service.

The worst service ever. Last winter they showed up and filled our oil because we had «automatic service» and charged us a whole dollar per gallon than any other oil company. They filled our next door neighbor the very same day for 70 cents less than us per gallon. When I called to complain they just said its their policy for the «convenience» of the automatic service. We cancelled and they didnt care. No attempt to retain our business. We still have their propane tanks, however. This year we called to have it refilled and the man I spoke with said «No Problem… I see you have an account for automatic oil… wait this is canceled… we will be out some time next week». I asked if he could give me a day and he reiterated his previous statement and hung up. I called back and spoke to someone else. After telling her I had a baby less than a year old in the house she said they’d be out the next day OR the day after that and still wouldn’t specify or nail down what day. They don’t care about ANYTHING BUT YOUR $$$$$$. Do NOT use them.

Wow, we bought a $ 7000 heating unit 9 years ago from them. We called them today because we’re looking to service the unit. The snooty receptionist said“we don’t do business with people who do not buy our oil” (they over charge for heating oil) my husband said but we bought the unit from you. She was rude and seemed to enjoy telling us that she could not help us. We called GEM instead. Some business they are running there.
