I love cupcakes and sweets, so I was delighted to find this small bakery out in Evans. I had to go with my staple, red velvet, and also the cookies and cream. The cupcakes were very large and nice and moist. The red velvet flavor itself was ok. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t the greatest that I’ve tasted either. The cookies in cream was very good. I’ll be back to try some of their other flavors. Prices are standard for jumbo cupcakes.

The concept of this place is great. The staff is very friendly and informative and took extra time to explain all the different options to us as this was our first time going in. The cupcakes were impressive upon first glance. They didn’t have a ton of frosting piled on top of them to make them look bigger than they actually were(which is a big deal for me!). We settled on four different cupcakes and we drove off with smiles on our faces but when we got home and dug in, the cakes were less than impressive. The cake itself was very moist and fluffy but lacked the flavor punch I was looking for, especially the red velvet. The frosting was the worst part. It had a strong shortening taste and flavor that completely masked whatever true flavor it should have been. I love cupcakeries and I really do hope this location succeeds but if you’re going to put all of the major awards signs on your entry door then I expect you to «bring it» with both presentation and quality! A little tweaking of the recipes could really take this place far.

Today was my first time checking out one of these cupcakeries! This location has been open about a month. The staff were friendly and informative. Ultimately I settled on the Chocoholic cupcake, which was chocolate, topped with chocolate mousse icing and chocolate shavings. Extremely moist, rich and savory. One way they keep you coming back is a day-of-the-week sign which posts upcoming cupcake creations. Tomorrow’s offerings are German Chocolate as well as Gingerbread.
