I love any fast food place that has polite people working here that don’t mess up the order. VERY hard to come by nowdays! You do not feel like you are being a pain just to place any kind of food order b/c you know that’s what these places are for if more fast food workers didn’t catch the drift. They have yummy float freezes and some pretty good food! I love them big ol’ cheese curd TURDs! Even though some look sketchy if ya know what I mean them are some pretty awesome tastin cheese LOGs! :-D Wish they were closer and didn’t get stuck in the 8th circle of hell traffic on the way there and back.

Ok, so I do not eat at A&W very often. But when I have. The food was fine. But I love their ice cream. But the last 4 ice cream cones were literally empty. As soon as I finish the top of the cone and bite into the cone. It’s fucking empty!!! EMPTY!!! I can’t make this crap up! I wish I had taken a pic each time. How fucking hard is it to actually fill the cone with soft serve ice cream? And fast food workers want $ 15 an hour? GTFO!

I’ve come here several times for a burger. The burgers always taste precooked, dry and cold. The bun doesn’t taste that fresh breaking into pieces. I’ve asked for onion to be added and found one stringy piece added to the burger! Brats, hot dogs are okay. Chicken tenders are delicious! Watch out though! If you ask for extra dipping sauce you will be charged extra for it. Onion rings and fries hot and fresh. Root beer is refreshing and nostalgic. Friendly service even when I’m tired and inpatient at the end of my work day.

Coney Dogs are misunderstood because they have an identity crises. All too often, they have to take the bad rap associated with a chili dog. However, that’s a culinary story for another time boys and girls. A & W serves a «mean» Coney with an addictive sauce that’s sprinkled with sweet onion and served on a bun softer than a baby’s bottom. They serve a unique soft drink as well… but you know that!

A & W root beer in a glass mug. Who does that any more? Burger pretty good too. I don’t remember which one I had. Nice change from all the other fast food.

Stopped by here with a coupon as I was running errands and based on other good Unilocal reviews. Place is extremely clean with very nice staff. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, cheese curds & a large diet Pepsi, the wicked stepsister to my preferred Diet Coke. It’s your standard fast food place but be forewarned: there are no healthy options such as a salad on the menu that I saw. Burgers, chicken samiches, brats, hot dogs. The cheeseburger was on a fresh bun and pretty tasty, but was just a little smaller/thinner and pricier than I was expecting. Bacon was good & crisp. Their cheese curds were tasty. I’d have liked them a tad hotter, with a little more breading and saltier. All in all, I’d like it more if the food were a tad cheaper and if they had Coke products instead… or if I liked root beer. My burger, curds & pop were $ 9.10. For reference, I can get a Portillo’s cheeseburger which is 2x as much beef, small fry & large drink for about $ 0.70 more and get a much bigger, tastier burger. For a fast food experience, it’s not the best value around but a nice change to the other fast food burger joints in the area. I’d give this place 3.5 stars, but curd availability gives them the bump to 4 stars.

This is the A&W I remember as a kid. The food here is great and the root beer tastes the way it should. A&W’s problem as a chain appears to be consistency. If all of them were run as well as this one is, they’d be a lot more popular than they are.

The restaurant is always clean. The staff is always friendly. And the root beer, made on the premises is still the same classic root beer it’s always been. I suggest you stay and have a frosty mug of it. I do wish the fried cheese curds were cheddar and not mozzarella. I order them, but I am always disappointed.

I love this place! I ordered cheese curds. Lightly breaded with warm, ooey gooey, melty Wisconsin white cheddar. The best I’ve ever had by a long shot! On another visit I had a Papa burger which was also very flavorful. And the root beer float was outstanding. It’s a good thing I don’t live closer; I’d be here every day!

A&W is typical fast food: cheap and greasy. However, compared to other places that serve similar fare, everything tasted fresh(as in, fresh oil was used and food was cooked to order). I had the chicken tenders, which were lightly breaded and piping hot, as well as the cheese curds which were SO good. Why aren’t there more A&W locations anymore? The A&W root beer has a better flavor than that Barq’s crud. If you dine in, your root beer is served in an enormous, frosty mug. Refills are free. The restaurant is designed like an old diner, and there were a lot of people here during lunch time. The location isn’t really close to shopping, even though it’s on a main drag, there isn’t much else around, so people are definitely coming for food over convenience. There’s a drive-thru too. I paid less than $ 10 for my meal, which satisfied both my appetite and wallet.

You gotta love this store. It’s very clean, well maintained, and serves the best Rootbeer floats and cheese curds in the area. It’s an owner-operator store, and you can see everyone cares!

Very clean store with the cheeriest, happiest employees ever. It’s kinda strange really. Their burgers are pretty good though they’re the usual fast food skinny patty type affairs. Fries are average. Cheese curds are above average, very tasty. I mean it’s fried cheese, how can it not be good? But my favorite here is the Polar Swirl, a blended vanilla ice cream treat with Reeses, Nutter Butter, Sour Patch Kids(weird), Oreos, and one other option, I forget. A guilty fat-ass indulgence. The root beer is fine. Wow, it comes from a tap, big whoop. Why everyone raves about it I don’t know. It’s the same corn syrupy crap you’d get in a can or anywhere else.

Your standard A&W fast food chain, with delicious fries, the best fast food root beer, cheese curds, and all the standards. Fast service from high school kids… you can’t beat that!

This is by far the cleanest«fast food» restaurant around. Add that to the fact that the food is good and the root beer is fresh from the tapper, and you’ve got a happy Stacey! Even the employees seem happy to be there and go the extra mile(they bring your food to you!).

Good olé A&W! Just as delicious as it always has been and out of the locations I have been to I would say this was the cleanest and fastest. I don’t know if it is just a weekly special or not daily but the 99 cent cheeseburger was a good deal! And now for the root beer. Ice cold glass, off of the root beer tap, and down the hatch. They really do have the best root beer! I love A&W and I just don’t know why these places aren’t more popular than they are. I will be returning!
