Peking Gourmet

Stopped by for take out because our regular place was closed. Worst Chinese food i’ve ever had I ordered the pork fried rice wasn’t even eatable we threw. It out I’ll never go there again.

We are always happy with our orders. The food tastes great and always arrives on time!

Looking for a new takeout, cane across PG.
Delivery was a full hour wih cold food. «We were busy, every calls at once» (Dinner hour)
Combo platter, the fried rice was nothing more then brown rice with soy sayce. Absolutely tasteless and barren of any other ingredients.
Main selection was not very flavorful.
Still looking for a good takeout!!!

Big portions, reasonable price, but quality isn’t best. The ribs were extremely dry. I don’t mind having their food all day, but I don’t miss it either. For quick warm food, this place ticks all the boxes, but at the end of the day it’s pretty average… Average isn’t bad. Average Chinese food around here is a lifesaver.

Love this place was looking for a good chinese food in the area. This is the only place I truly can say the food was good

Everything that they make there is flavorful and filling. Boneless Spare Ribs are the best!!!

Chinese food that is mediocre, at best. I decided to pay with my credit card, and I notice an extra .50 cent charge on the receipt. I asked why there was an extra .50 charged. Well, apparently there is a fee here if you decide to pay with a card. Unreal!

Seriously the best Chinese food around! The boneless Ribs are awesome, they’re quick and efficient, prices are very fair and they will accommodate annoying requests!
No frills, good food, delivery, reasonable Prices, been around for forever. No reason not to love it!

I have been ordering from this place for several years and was always happy with the fast delivery and taste but I will never ever order from there ever again. The mistake I made was to actually pick up my food instead of getting it delivered. I was repulsed by how dirty the place looked but picked up and paid for the food anyway. On my way out I was greeted by a roach the size of a small mouse that crawled from under the plant sitting in the entry way that rolled over and died. Needless to say, I threw the food out. Never again will I purchase from these small Chinese places. I will only order from Jani from now on. I’m sure all of these places have roaches but at least the place is always packed and the food turns over quickly so it isn’t just sitting around. I wish Nassau county used a rating system for how clean a place is just like the city does. So gross.

I bit into my pork fried rice and just as quick as I took my first bite, I spit it back out!!! The pork was spoiled!!!
This place is disgusting! Ruined my appetite and they need to double check what they put in their food!!!
I told the lady and she said there was nothing wrong with it. I didn’t even ask for a refund. They can keep the 10 bucks, I flew outta there!

I’ve never been physicaly at this place, but used them for delivery. Pretty happy overall. Shrimp Lo Mein was excellent. Egg drop soup had rich flavor and good viscosity. They customized an eggplant and veggie dish in brown sauce just as requested. Dumplings were not as rock-​star but not a loss either. Delivery was about half hour and prices were reasonable. We’d order from them again.

Tried Peking gourmet based off of personal recommendations from friends who swore by this place. I got the Kung Pow chicken combo which is what I get a most places. There was practically no flavor in the sauce what so ever. Also I was not a big fan of the way they chopped the chicken into little tiny pieces which made it hard to taste the difference between the chicken and veggies. The egg roll was ok but the fried rice was pretty dry.
Overall not impressed. Next time I will go back to PO-​Sing instead!

Great wonton soup. Ribs could be a little more tender on occasion but they are tasty and meaty. Special Lo mein is a great combination of pork, shrimp and chicken. I always try something new when I go there and I’m rarely regretful of my order. Solid food joint.

Good Chinese food, probably the best in the Bellmore area. The food is flavorful and the meats are not fatty like most of their competitors in the area. I usually get the food delivered. They have always met their timeline for delivery. Most of the time they beat their time and come a little early. The delivery man is always very friendly.

Had the BBQ spare ribs and chicken with bean sprout.
12 bucks for the large ribs which is a little on the high end but you get a good amount of meat. Not a big fan of the texture though. Could be a little more tender but you feel like an animal eating it.
Chicken with bean sprout was good. Chicken was cooked well but not over cooked and the bean sprout gave it a nice texture. It was a great meal.

The BEST chinese place I can think of. Love their food.
