The only reason they get two stars from me is because of the abundance of toppings on their Bulldog pizza. Went to pick up our pizza and mozzarella sticks that we had called in for take out. It was ridiculously busy, and they seemed understaffed. We had to wait in line for like a half hour while our food sat in a warming box because all the employees were too busy running around like chickens with their head cut off. Finally got home, only to open the containers and be disappointed. Five mozzarella sticks for 6 bucks, and they were ok but not worth the price. Pizza was obviously not fresh, and the crust was burnt. It wasn’t a good experience whatsoever, and I wouldn’t go back.

I wouldn’t give it 1 star but there wasn’t an option for none. Noisy, slow service and cold. The soup came lukewarm and the sandwiches were burnt. We won’t be going back.

It saddens me some to give Gino’s such a poor rating. Gino’s has been a staple in the community for a very long time. The pizza, salad, and mojo’s are usually pretty good. We went in last night at 8:40 pm(the hours posted say open until 9:00) Upon ordering we were immediately informed that we would not be allowed to eat in the restaurant. I was completely appalled at the lack of customer service, and sadly the next time we are looking for pizza we will look elsewhere.

Since new management took over this place has improved some. But it is still hit and miss. Last week our pizza was great ! They have the best Canadian bacon and their salads are big and taste good. Love their sandwiches but the past 2 times they were soggy and undercooked.

Awesome service… quiet…good food. Love the mojos! The pizza sandwich was really good served hot. The mojos were the hit, though. I ordered a small and it fed two of us.

It’s a sad day to be a local, Gino’s pizza is dead. It used to be a favorite of mine, but the new ownership/service has killed it. I been going to Gino’s for 25 years, so it was difficult to write them off without giving them multiple chances. The last few times I went there is hardly any cheese on the pizza and it’s completely drowned in sauce. So tonight my wife ordered a pizza with light sauce and extra cheese. She told employee that we were unhappy with our pizza the last few times. She explained that she puts plenty of cheese on, but other employees don’t think that you need much cheese. So there is no consistency to you what you get. Along with our large pizza we also ordered two sandwiches and a order of Mojos, together it cost $ 48. Okay so you would think that they would try and get it right this time… wrong. When we got our pizza there was more cheese but it seemed like they put even more sauce on it. My wife called them told them a we didn’t receive what we had paid for. She asked for the manger. She was greeted with«what do you want» from the rude manager. She told her that we wished for a pizza with light sauce and that our sandwiches were oozing mayo and sauce from every side(see posted photos). Finally she agreed to make us another pizza, but would do nothing about our sloppy sandwiches, claiming thats the way they are trained to make them. So the manager was so rude that my wife asked me to pick up our pizza. I brought a piece of the pizza to show how saucy it was. She said that they put so much sauce normally that light sauce is like normal sauce now, and we should order«very, very, very light sauce». I showed her a picture of my sandwich and she said they trained to put 1⁄3 of a cup of mayo on every sandwich. There was NO «I’m in sorry about your experience» more like this the way the ownership wants it so deal with it. That’s okay sell it to someone else. We won’t be back.

Hate to say this, but HORRIBLE pizza! Do they never taste their pizza? Do yourself a favor, go spend under$ 10 at Wal-Mart and buy their Meatlovers or Supreme. It is 100000% better than anything you can get here! Too much sauce that, other than being very sweet, had no discernible flavor. The sausage and ground beef had no taste and the pepperoni was almost non-existent. Extremely disappointed! We won’t ever set foot in this place again. Oh, and the place was filthy!

First few times, Fantastic! Had a great cracker crust, good sauce, not overpowering, not slathered on. Unfortunately last visit by my spouse Monday painted a different picture! Crust literally so hard you could hit it on table and not break it, let alone try to bite through it! Toppings had no flavor and sauce was heavy. Hopefully if you go, it will be as good as it used to be. As for my wife and myself, we won’t return.

Stopped in before hitting the road with a friend who makes it his business to eat at anytime he’s in town. This place was pretty good! The service was great and the food was too! I got a salad and the jojos’s and my friends got a couple pizza’s plus the small cheese(soooo good). The 2 pizzas were the chef special and the bulldog. If I ever go back to Coos Bay I’ll def stop by again and try the taco pizza!

The only thing good is the mo joes. Pizza no way. I was so happy someone else paid for that nasty pizza. Also check when the last time was the oil got changed for anything deep fried there. They go way to long between changing the oil.

Food was really good. Not a very family friendly establishment. There are no changing tables. I brought my 2 babies, both in diapers. I had to wait and change them in the car, due to NO changing tables in the restroom.

I wanted to like it, but it was not the best pizza I’ve ever had. To be fair, I haven’t tried their sandwiches, which we were told were better than their pizza. The pizza crust was like a cracker on the bottom, and yet had kind of a doughy taste. The sauce was average. I am not sure what the cheese was, but it did not seem like the stretchy mozzarella that is my favorite on pizzas. The restaurant itself is large and would seem to accommodate large parties, which is nice. Just don’t order the pizza.

So today I went here with a couple buddies on my lunch from work. We’re given an hour, which is a decent amount of time for pizza in my opinion. One of our coworkers arrived earlier than us so he ordered and we showed up and waited. And waited. And waited some more. About 45 minutes later they came out and told us they burnt our pizza and were gonna have to remake it. We said well no we really don’t have time to wait for a new pizza… to which she responded«well I can give you some free jojos…» No. Not only do I not have another 45 minutes for you to make me another damn pizza, I don’t have time to wait for you to make me jojos either. Which in sure you would screw up anyways. We literally spent our ENTIRELUNCHBREAK sitting in Gino’s waiting for pizza, only to walk out starving and empty handed. What a freaking joke this place is. Save yourself some time and money and eat literally, ANYWHEREELSE!

Not really our style of pizza. The crust is reminiscent of unsalted saltine crackers, or Matzo dough rolled out very thin and crispy. And the sauce and toppings seem uninspired. We did get a nice large salad of Romaine and other wegetables for $ 4.99 with a lot of dressing on the side. It would have been nice to get it more than 5 minutes before the pizza though … The pizza prices aren’t great. The place seems a bit understaffed. And even though we were apparently among the first people there for dinner, the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept or mopped lately. This place does look like a perfect place to take a kid’s sport team. But we wouldn’t want to be there at the same time! Also on the upside, there’s lots of free parking. There’s a good DIY car wash right next door. And it’s close to the NB downtown and mall.

I will say its perfect for groups if you simply want beer and some hot wings, but the pizza is not good at all. The service sucks and they could use some good housekeeping.

Staying at the quality inn down the road and decided to pick up a pizza and cheese sticks for dinner. Place was dim, kinda dingy and there was only 1 family in the place. Kinda figured it wouldn’t be that great but it’s pizza, how bad can it be? But man was I wrong… It honestly was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was like stale crackers, the cheese tasted old and there wasn’t much of it, the sausage tasted like plain ground beef and the sauce was gross. The only positive thing was that the staff was very nice. I don’t understand how the owner and staff don’t realize that there product is complete crap and do something about it!

Yuck. This was probably the worst pizza I have ever had. 99¢ Leftover Pizza pockets from any truck stop Deli Mart are better! The size of the pizza was small for what we paid.($ 18.00+) and we ordered a large. .The crust tasted like you are eating a saltine cracker(blech) the sauce was flavorless and the toppings tasted old. The tables were even kind of sticky. I wouldn’t got back.

We stopped in for lunch passing through town. We shared the salami oven-baked sandwich and a small plain cheese pizza. The sandwich was very good, with a generous portion of meat, bread was crusty(in a good way) and served with a bag of chips. The pizza: not good. The crust was weird, cracker-like, and overworked. The flavor of the sauce was fine, but there was too much cheese that needed more time to brown a bit. All in all, it was edible, inexpensive and fine — but we felt no need to take the leftovers, and have no desire to ever return.

Decided to try this spot after overhearing a co-worker talking about taking a potential new partner here for dinner. When I arrived, the restaurant was mostly empty. One side of the restaurant is booths and traditional tables, the other side is composed of long benches, and the kitchen is in the middle. I opted for the two topping, 6 in pizza and salad special that evening for about $ 10. My order came out a few minutes later. I was completely flabergasted by what I saw. I was expecting a ROUND, 6 in daimeter pizza with a nice salad. Instead, there was an odd shaped piece of cooked dough, it resembled a very sad and misshapen parallelogram. I guess if you measured the two farthest corners, it was about six inches apart. The pizza itself was pretty good, the crust was thin and not too brittle. The salad was just out of the bag with some cheese and dressing put on top. The only saving grace of this place was the taste and crust of the pizza, the mini pizza I got seemed to be made without any thought or care. Like the worker found a bit of leftover dough and decided to make my order from that. I supposed if I had ordered a larger pie I might have a better opinion of the place, but my first impression was only worth two stars.

3.5 stars. It may have been 4 stars, but I feel like it may have been heavily influenced by the fact that I was starving after day of playing in the sand dunes. Awesome place to come with a big crew of people — especially at 4PM when it’s not too busy. The long tables are convenient to getting the whole group together, but the chibi stools weren’t particularly comfortable. The décor at Gino’s is definitely old school. It’s a bit dark on the inside(even with lots of light outside) especially with the red wallpaper. But hey, you got pizza and beer. Party. Pizza was pretty decent. I like my crusts thin and crispy and Gino’s met that criteria. It may have been that we were a large group, but the slices of pizza of their largest pizza were tiny. It was enough that everybody got a slice of every pizza but only because each slice was like three bites. I did appreciate that they threw lots of toppings on the pizza. The toppings are your usual faire. You won’t find anything particularly exotic here. Overall, we had a fun time there: pretty good food and plenty of beer. But it seemed expensive for what we got.
